Mike Henry, Gordon Scott, both proved a big man can be fast, agile, skilled in a fight, and threw out the muscle bound idea many had and have. But I am not refering to steriod monsters like today. Scott being a real life judo/hand to hand combat instructor brought that to his roles, but being slammed into by Henry would kill most people.

First scene is from: The Green Berets. I have the whole henry tarzan collecton at home. He was the best Tarzan in my opinion. Saw the first movie as a kid in Africa.

Tarzan' Mike Henry made a great appearance as the edgar rice burrough's character. He made it work well. great filming helped. Fine fight sequences. A truly great effort. Great plot twists.

Mike Henry was in Smokey & the Bandit

as Jackie Gleason's not too bright son.

He also played a prison guard in the 1974

Burt Reynold's film The Longest Yard.

Mike Henry was an awesome Tarzan. Thanks for sharing! And where is Mr. Henry these days? I know he's still around somewhere.
