@lbIeesel Bloom makes things look better when properly used. I don't like bloom raped games that much. In real life soldiers and vehicles are "dirtied up" so they don't shine. Bloom would make them shine, and would make it look unrealistic. I had OFP: Dragon Rising. The shadows look horrible. The models look horrible (esp. people faces). The AI is over the top cheating. The weapons sound unrealistic. Everything looks fake. Keep in mind that this video is CGI. Arma 2 doesn't use CGI it dont need

ofp dragon rising. i jsut got doen finishing it a day ago. it was a excelent game. 8 out of 10 for me, i loved the tactics, weapons. and ballistics. but damn it is so buggy! my bad things on it is my sqad is a bunch of retards. you are prety much walking the whole time. you can't ride many vehicles in ps3. and no free roam. or mission editor. but it was realy fun. one of my favorite games despite its many buggs and problems. i should be getting the first ofp soon, i will see how that is

1. i dont have an sdtv. i play in 1080p on a sharp aquos tv with surround sound.

I remember this because in desert storm enemy tanks toke 9 seconds to reload. Thats why it looks like it shoots really fast. Count the seconds and you will see.

I'm pretty sure it wont be nearly realistic based off the video's they have shown so far, it looks like they have gotten rid of free flow gun at the moment, that could change though. But to vouch for Armed Assault 2 the sounds are greatly improved and the game all around including graphics. The old Armed assault I still think has some of the best graphics to date based off the angle you look at it from.
