@GoHardMG The religion theme is only part of the song, there are some beautiful metaphors in the first half of the song, but in the second part he turns to religion and he describes the lion and the lamb and the skeletons coming back to life, which will supposedly happen upon Christ's return. Conor is so lonely that he actually WANTS to believe in God, but that can't happen for him until Christ comes back, so Conor has to "suspend his disbelief".
