Ok just to clear this up since people think I cant fucking ride...
Abient temp was about 37 degrees in November Upstate NY. It was raining bike is on stock dunlop 208s. Just had a lowside on the same lap that pushed the handgaurd into the front brake lever causing it to . I was on my way back to the pits to sort it out (why i was going slow) and when I came around the corner the front locked up and I went down.
That happened to a local at our track who used a lever from the wrong bike, his brake was dragging and overheated and locked up at about 140km/h. (This was on a sportbike)
I have a video on google (search "van isle" it should come up) of me riding in winter on the streets on my streetbike going much faster than I should be... Almost lost it once on a frozen tar snake.
Just got my motard this year, season started last Tuesday :D
@duckman684 I think you got balls to be racing in the rain. Honestly, no hate. I ride year round, but I don't race. Front end goes and--BAM--it's over just like that. I still think the "God, Aaron!" comment is hilarious in the vid. It makes me chuckle.
I hope i can make it to a track day one of these days. And thanks for the chuckle. I needed that today.
