I love how he's animated into scenes from the movie, specifically in the movie's style. It's frightening and strange to see him there, and yet it ties the music to the film so perfectly. Creating music videos for movies and putting scenes in always runs the risk of looking haphazard, but this was beautiful. I love this video!

This has a lot of history to it- old french movies- Jaques Tati, old vaudville.

it is kind of wierd unless you get the connections. Trust me- this is incredibly cool on many dimensions.

Watch the movie- this sing fits it as a reprise. It is 2 hours well spent.

Silvain Chomet is genuis cubed- artist producer writer. i'll buy anything he makes, sight unseen- this is like the best looney toons but feture length- so many links to historical films and events- such gritty detail. no hollywood award would be sufficient.
