Kylie was absolutely NOT miming/lip synching. I saw this concert live on 3 seperate nights and it was so obvious she was singing live. She sounded amazing! I love this performance :)

The original Showgirl was better. Also, this is true and Kylie has even admitted this but it isn't bad: all live performances have a backing track. Now remember, it's so low that it's almost inaudible, but it's there in case her microphone stops working or she has vocal problems. For certains songs it's distorted for a techno vibe. That's not to say that Kylie can't sing, she can, it's just backup in case of an emergency.

Listen to her singing the line "If love were liquid it would drown me". It's not so bad on youtube, but when it aired on TV in Australia, the word "liquid" came out rather strange, it sounded like Kylie made a mistake, or the backup singers weren't very helpful! Still BY FAR the BEST song performed at the concert, even though it was shortened.
