Samsung is a very large and most of the time a reliable brand. (Every brand has some flaws) from cell phones to contruction, its an industry leader. Dont take my word for it, I urge you to do your own research about the company. Though I never actually owned a Samsung notebook, but I have owned many other products from Samsung such as t.v.'s, phones, and MP3 and I been more then happy with them. I believe in 2009 Samsung because the worlds largest company in terms of revenue.

1. There's more to a processor than cores and frequencies - cache, FSB, and architecture, all make large differences in speed

2. it has ddr3 memory which is significantly faster than ddr2

3. SOLID STATE

4. lightweight = no backache when taking it everywhere

5. less power consumtion = never need to rush to charge the battery

6. lastly, compacting that into a laptop that thin is no laughing matter
