While this extraordinarily complicated masterpiece was executed not without occasional flaws here and there, its was beautiful nonetheless and I enjoyed the hell out of the girl's performance - 5 stars hands down.
Thanks. I see from reading your profile you want to go to Berklee. If you like Jazz then it is the place for you. I had the privilege of studying Classical piano with a student from Berklee while I was also a student at Berklee college. She was a student at Berklee but is famous in her Country as a Classical pianist but came to Berklee to learn something new...JAZZ.
I just got a new piano and will post some new videos of me playing Classical piano soon.
Awesome! I heard this piece years ago - and now I know what it's called. Keep up the good work. Awesome performance.
Also - isn't it funny how the "other" composer videos get more views than the "original composition" videos? The curse of the composer! I wish you luck!
lol, that poor piano sounds like it has seen better days... anyway great playing!! And YES!! This song is SOOO much fun to play :P I had so much fun with that middle section, the "passion" part you could call it. I still sit down to play that part, though alas, I cannot remember the rest :( Will have to get the music back out methinks ;) Wonderfully done :)
~Dreamsavvy~
PS. especially with 4:08, those octave leaps ALWAYS killed me. You seem to have a lot more ease with it than I did :P
Quite good. Could be more accurate and possibly more expressive in places - perhaps more dynamic differentiation. May be just the recording, but the piano sounds slightly dubious. What is it? it is difficult to tell from the video. Good effort.
Yeh, I could have been more expressive, especially in the slow part. The practice pianos at Berklee are very worn out from all the students pounding on them all day long.

Fantastic, Corinne. Khachaturian is a hard music to play and to swallow ( for some listener)You seem very comfortable with it. I love your dexterity and your interpretation. A lots of practice... I want more Video on your site. Incidently, your videographer is exellent and very stable with a hand held camera... Congrat to both.
What?! Whoa.....

I totally agree with you, (NYFrenchman) I find this interpretation performed with panache
It is true, a piece of (Khachaturian) is not obvious to the execution, and I took pleasure in his interpretation ...
