Where from? Brisbane's a nice enough place to live in. Traffic is pretty bad by Aussie standards at the moment due to lack of planning.. but not too bad to get around otherwise.
What I meant to write was that "I wish the US had more roundabouts." We (the US) have too many "traffic signals/lights," as is. Sorry for the confusion.
Oh, I see. So yuo really don't have that many? Do you call them roundabouts or 'traffic circles'? (I thought US called them circles: in Australia = roundabouts).
They are good, until they put them on *every* intersection, even when not necessary! But they're great for improving traffic flow, assuming everyone knows how to use them properly and indicate properly!
Not many at all. It depends on what part of the country you're in (re: roundabouts v. traffic circles). In the northeast portion of the US, they're called traffic circles or rotaries. Those, I think, aren't built the same as roundabouts -- so, yeah.
Great video! The roads in Australia resemble those of Europe (roundabouts, road marking, etc.). Also, your camera seems to have nice low-light performance. Mine isn't nearly as good. Keep them coming :)
Yeah.. we love roundabouts in Australia. Helps to keep the traffic flowing smoothly, though of course no one ever uses their turning signals properly when using them! :-(
Even Motorways can have roundabouts on them during their early life. The Gateway Motorway was a classic for this: overpasses were added over the roundabouts at intersections as traffic volume increased.
Haha, ide never have thought.. bout the Camera. Bet it helps with having to upload the video to the pc, lol, its already done for you.. anyway, thanks for making all these driving videos, i love watching them :)

Brisbane motorways are QUITE large. But like most cities that have them, I'm really not quite sure where people are going (on non-work-days.)

Winter sunrise/set:
6am - 5pm
Summer sunrise/set:
5am - 7pm
Queensland is the only state not to have *any* Daylight Savings in summer which is hotly debated.

I wish the US had more traffic signals. There are too many traffic lights, which causes more aggressive and poor driving habits.

What do you mean "traffic signals" vs. "traffic lights"??? Do you mean like @0:32 with the right hand turn signal?
