I was there for 1986 to 1995. I really missed Okinawa and the friends I made there so much that I took my family back to Okinawa where I now live since Nov.12 2009. I am no longer in the Marines but working again as an English teacher.

camp foster is soo cool bcoz its so close to everything, i live on Camp schwab and my fiancee lives in Tomishiro, near Naha, she drives almost 2 hrs everyday or so just to see me, I wish i lived out there, good video man

I know Oki better than most lol! I love that place, i've been there twice now. Saw some shots of Naha, carnival park of course, that famous ferris wheel! My favorite place though is Ikei Island... we spent our fourth of july last year right on the beach. Great time!

I don't know if you'll even read this...but I am a depended here on Okinawa...and...I really feel like this video was a beautiful insight of life here! I loved that is wasn't all about the bars...everyone leaves here with stories of "that one night at Gate 2..." and...it's great to see that you got soo much more out of your stay here!
