  • i remeber that day... i was in the third grade even then i understood what was happening. fear was all i felt for a awhile. then after awhile i didnt know what to feel because i was in shock, still couldnt believe what had a happen. i remeber the next the my brother tryed to signed up for the marines, but he was only 16 at the time.. we will never forget that its our pearl harbor

  • FORRRRR ALLLLLAAAAAHHHHHHHH

  • poor people on board flight 11 :(

  • I found out about 9/11 from history itself. I was only 2 when it happened. When I watched this news coverage, I was crying. I never knew how serious this is. 9/11 is, was, and ever will be, THE changing moment in America. I watched the entire thing on CNN and now that I got a FULL understanding of this, I hope it never happens again

  • ABC news called the Cantor Fitzgerald office in the north tower (above impact) & asked what was happening. NOT COOL. A person said "We're f**king dying" & screaming/yelling could be heard in the background before they hung up, so they called back but no answer. The worst example of a lack of compassion by competitive media I've every heard of.

  • the 3 people who dislike this were Al-Qaeda

  • LOL these people are so freckin stupid on ABC the way they report the lady was like "was this a plane that crash or was it hit by accident" loli was no ma'am a bird hit it and caused a big explosion and yes it was an accident cause the bird was blind cause it had sperm in its eyes LMAO

  • This morning I was 17, and for the first time my mother didn't get mad at me for screaming curses, because at 9:02, that's all I was capable of, because I knew what it was, and all I could feel was an absolute searing rage, and then I couldn't stand up anymore and just sat down on the floor staring dumbly at the screen.

  • Thank you so much for posting this. I was losing hope about finding this footage without any of the, as one person put, "garbage" about conspiracy's attached to it.

  • 9/11 truthers can go f'ck themselves.

  • @EmperorsNewnewGroove thank you

  • @bossman391 It's a psychological problem...becuase I was looking at people dying and I couldn't do anything about it and I was an impressionable little kid...sorry if I freaked people out but unfortunately it keeps repeating itself. I thought it my duty to remember 9/11...I wrote several poems and built a small memorial display in the 4-H exhibit hall this year.

  • I still see that fireball every time I blink or fall asleep...I was only 8.

  • @wingedsandals1 really? EVERYtime? why?

  • I was in 5th grade when this happened. That was the day my teacher had to explain to us what terrorism was. I wish that lesson would have happened under different circumstances.

  • I was in school on September 11 2001 my Aunt Sherri worked at the pentagon she was spost to work that day and they called he and told her she didn't have to work that day and the place where the plane hit is where she worked at she lost alot of her friends that day.

  • this was my 23rd birthday. Awful day.

  • I was in 7th grade when this happened. My mom woke me up and we watched in horror as people fell to their deaths from the towers. I cried and asked for my uncle and cousin. Luckily, they had decided to stay at our lake cabin and not fly back that day. I also panicked for my dad who i didnt know was safe at work.

Now ten years later I want to volunteer both at the memorial and the museum to help the victims and their families. I cried when watching this. ...

  • 10 years ago, I remember that time, I was at my house watching an episode of "Little House On The Prairie", Until I got board watching it, I decided to play a computer game on the computer, and my back was turned for a moment, I was right in a middle of the computer game, until I saw something reflecting off of the computer screen, I turned around, and I saw this happened, I hurried turning off the computer game, and turnes the computer off, and I started watching this, r.i.p to WTC,T.P,Pa.

  • I was 10 when this happen i was in third grade and our teacher told us and i didnt know was she was talking about so i blow it off and went on with my day. then when i got home i started to understand it more.

  • Totally miss the professionalism but heart of Peter Jennings. Even missing Charlie Gibson... Great anchors.

  • I was at school that day. I was a tenth grader and my school had this work program so when went on break before returning to school someone told us. We had a sub and he told us. When got back to school everyone was talking about it. All after practices were cancelled and by the time my younger brother and I got home my mom was home. She for the FDA she told us as pentagon was hit they them home.

  • I don't think that episode of Nightline aired that night.

  • @skylerv94 No shows air that night. All movies were delayed that week

  • I watched NBC on 9/11, but ABC was the second best by a mile. Both did good coverage

  • I was only 5 years old and I didn't completely understand what had happened, but I knew it was something horrible. As time went on I came to realize the extent of how horrific it truly was. I get emotional just watching this video; I can only imagine what it would have been like to be there.

  • @zoesophia96 ya i was six i will never forget the scream that came from my mom and dads room when tower 2 was hit

  • @zoesophia96 ya i was six i will never forget the scream that came from my mom and dads room when tower 2 was hit

  • This is one of the few 9/11 videos on youtube without all the conspiracyfags commenting with "HURR BUSH DID IT LMAO!!!!1"

  • I'll never forget where I was at the time. I was in my 7th grade English class and the priest came in and broke the news that the trade center collapsed and many people died. We then preceded to say a prayer.

  • I am absolutely horrified. Not just at the obvious, but at the fact that I was too young in 2001, and did not truly understand the impact at the time. It seems impossibly... horrible. Like this type of thing is only from films or whatever.

Thank god Osama is dead now.

  • @7pulford

I was chatting online when this happened, and one of my friends, who lives in the Philippines, told me about it. The thing that was said that day that sticks out in my mind the most was when one girl said, "This can't be happening", and another guy said, "I think that's what they said at Pearl Harbor." When the comparison was made to Pearl Harbor, that drove home just how serious a situation it was.

  • I was only 8 yet i can still remember this day like it was just yesterday

  • Thumbs up if you can’t wait to see a picture of this dead basterd!

  • I cant believe that was already almost 10 YEARS ago. I was in 7th grade. When the announced it, all I could do was stare at the floor and cry.

    My nation...

  • I just looked at all major networks "as it happened" and this network believe it or not got it right completely first and faster than any other...look yourself..all others clueless...Ladin is dead!!!!!...he deserved it

  • This is the channel I was watching. Been looking for it.

  • i was 11 when i saw this on TV in Puerto Rico this was horrible

  • I was in Japan when this happened. I was heading up to the church where I was going to be working, and halfway there, the Pastor's daughter told me the WTC had been attacked. I thought they'd blown up the garage again. Imagine the sickness I felt when I saw the vids fo the towers gettign hit then collapsing. I've never felt sick liek that before or since. I'll never forget this day....

  • I was 5. I remember this.

  • Its crazy that this was the first major terrorists attack in American soil since Pearl Harbor besides the minor attack on the WTC in the 90's

  • Man o Man the Day that changed America Forever and that was the only time America was one now we are Divided and Falling apart. The Terrorist won, No more hope for America sad sad sad sad

  • 9/11/2001 made me realize that i take too much for granted.. I always though since we live in the United States.nothing bad can ever happen here, even though i was only 11 @ the time. Now I0 yrs later I never take for granted each day I'm able to spend with my family, friends, and never again complain about having to run errands even if I dont feel like it.

  • West tower???????? is this guy retarted or trying to sound like he knows more than he actually does. XD

  • you can see people jumping out of the building.

  • Even though I am not an American, I do a little bit of a rememberance thing on 9-11 and every year when that day comes around I feel sick and very sad that these planes had killed alot of innocent people - it wasnt there time to go. What makes me sick is that these people got up to work today, said "C U after work" to their children and had no idea that today was their last day :'(

  • o my good 2012 man planet fin

  • Put this on DVD man

  • put this on DVD man

  • The good olde days! i miss 2001 even tho i was 13 at the time.

  • i was 13 years old in middle school and was home sick that day..i saw the whole thing and the 2nd plane live on tv..me and my father watched this all day!

  • This coverage is so much better than NBC coverage. They had some ditsy woman reporting on the phone and then they had a man practically crying.

  • @pcerel out of all the stations coverage of this that ive seen this is clearly the best, terrorist attack was put out there very early on and not playing dumb to the situation like the other stations were, matt lauer on NBC was exceptional imo in his reporting on this.

  • This is what I woke up to on that September morning. I was only 6 years old. But this brings back memories.

  • I have been looking for these video clips for 9 years. Because this is what I was watching - GMA - as I packed my apartment to move into my first home, right after sending my daughter off to kindergarten that morning. This is what I remember, the coverage beginning of the first "explosion," and watching the second one occur live on ABC with Diane and Charlie. THANK YOU for posting these.

  • @sweetaggiegal1997 I live in NJ with my family then, I was excused to arrive late since my 1st 2 classes were schedule to go to Natural History Msm. I remember I was getting ready after breakfast and my mom yelled to turn TV. I mean, we stay locked in for 2 days and it was eerie to listen to the Circuits Busy recording as we tried to reach family & friends in the city, even e-mail servers collapsed several times that day. Waiting on replies was hard!

  • I lived in the West Coast and woke up to find this news at the time the second plane hit. I didn't know what was going on. Only knowing that my shows weren't on. The weekday cartoons if anyone still remembers those. I flipped through until I found the secondary PBS station showing regular programming. I did not knew what happened until after it happened. I was in the 3rd grade when this happened, and I was ignorant

  • I was in tenth grade when happend. My school a work program so I was working when this happend and my class went on break before returning to school and they workers told us. We watch on the television the towers falling

  • i remember that day it was not fun it was not a good sight to see I was at the start of the age of 13 years old all thrugh that terrible day i thot of that episoad of the Simpsons when Homer's Car gets stollen by Barney and gets Illegaly Park't between the towers i remember waking up on that morning in 4 days its going to be my 22nd Birthday in the 9- 11th of this year is the 9th anno. and its going to be 2011 prety soon

  • I was watching this channel on ABC 10 in San Diego getting ready for school back in 4th grade when this happened. It seemed unreal, like a movie. The fact that the United States was so vulnerable by these attacks. I had nightmares of this and could not sleep for days for fear of attack. I could only imagine how the people in the airplanes excluding the terrorists and especially the people in the buildings were going through when they saw a large jet/building heading straight towards them.

  • wow i was only two when this happened and i dont rmember it my mom says i was sleeping

  • "It sounded like a missile, not an airplane." That's not suspicious at all

  • @BATGbballa333 Like a civilian with no knowledge of missiles would be able to pinpoint and differentiate between the sound of an approaching missile and a low flying jet? No one knew what the hell was going on in the first couple of minutes and so it's normal for humans to immediately jump to conclusions to try and explain what happened. It was a jet, and that is an undeniable fact.

  • This was not an attack on just the US. Citizens of more than 80 countries were slaughtered. Believers in all major faiths were murdered. Almost 3000 futures were stolen and millions of hearts were broken. This was an attack on civilization.

  • i was in the 4th grade in Newnan Georgia and my mom checked me out of school (i didnt know what had happend yet) and my mom was crying her eyes out and i asked her "mom why are you crying" and she told me what had happend then proceeded to tell me that thats where she did her paramedic training. i will never forget that day for as long as i live

  • RIP Peter Jennings

  • MY BLADDER WON'T CLOSE!!

  • @toncookie337 shut up ! dont joke about this!!!!

  • I remember watching this on T.V I was only 10 years old. I stayed home from school and watched it all happen with my mom. Can't believe it's almost been 10 years!

  • @TheKeithCarnes

I guess that makes you 19 or 20

  • Its hard to believe that whilst they were reporting this about the first tower the other plane was being hijacked and on its second collision =(

  • this is some pretty awesome stuff

  • @scotty2hottie48 neither will I... sad day for America

  • @scotty2hottie48 No one will. Hard to believe this happened in fact September 12th I woke up thinking the day before was a dream and it was September 11th.

  • @scotty2hottie48 me neither

  • Comment removed

  • Can someone please explain how the helicopter can be seen through the tower? The image goes right through and you can see a white trace. How is that possible?

    Helicopter approach begins at 5:46

  • the helicopter fly's in front of the building

  • Well class, as the rules of physics show, the helicopter was on the side of the building CLOSER to the camera. Dismissed.

  • Remember 9/11 <3 we will never forget who lost their lives...

  • This one of the few videos without conspiracy garbage attached. Thank you for posting it without coment.

  • @MamaGeph

Yeah ditto that, I'm sick of people whom think we live in a world of James Bond villians

  • @MamaGeph thank you

  • We will never forget!!!!
