Great pickin'. Can I make a suggestion? Start practicing while standing with a strap to hold your guitar. You are going to develop muscle memory that will almost require you to play while sitting with your legs crossed before you.

that sounds like a tune my buddy used to play on the banjo, he called it "Wild horses at stoney point" whatever you call it, it sounds good.

If you listen closely, at the beginning I say "Next for you I'm going to play a song called Wild Horse which is sometimes called Wild horse at stoney point, but I say it really softly!"

I think it's the same one you're talking about.
