I now own 3 bikes, a 2007 Victory Jackpot, 1998 Suzuki Intruder 1500 and a 2005 Suzuki Gxsr 1000 and not one single problem except my battery discharged on my Intruder. I got over the Metric bikes are wanna be harleys year ago.

I don't understand the "Mystique" I've owned 3 Harleys and 1 Yamaha Roadstar. I admit I like Harleys and my next bike will be a Harley but it won't be a twin cam. I test rode a 2007 Street Glide that was brand new and it was a step down I felt like when I went back to my Road star. The roadstar shifted smoother. Had better SOUND (Ya I said it) and was faster on acceleration. I know it was a stock bike but I won't buy any Harley newer than a 99!
@ExplosionBass Test ride a Vrod. Smoother shift, nice acceleration. The Road Star Is a nice bike. I personaly like the hard shift of a harley. Gives more of a raw machine feel to the bike. not an everything is gravy feel. Thats what alot of people dont understand. Some people like the bike to feel more like a machine. more so than a laced pillow. Stuff these Jap bike folks will never understand. I love all bikes. Dont care where they was made. You can even catch me on a little scooter. LMFAO!

I guess everyone has thier own opinion. harleys have a very unique sound. It's even patented! I love the lope they have and when your riding a rigid with short pipes like mine, you can feel the rumble in your bones. I love it!
In my oppinion Honda's and Yamaha's are the best made bikes. But they just don't have that bad assness to them! Plus bikes are easy to work on, So i don't realy car if mine breaks down.
Notice i didn't say i wouldn't much rather have a Harley over a Honda, or Yamaha. I simply said they are better built, and all around much better bikes. Nothing wrong with them, i've had both.
