1. If the Dollar collapses, gas won't be $6 at the pump, it will be $6000 or more. A complete collapses of the dollar would be chaos, not just doubling of prices. He must understand this
2. Does he really think Stores will be stocked fully and people won't STEAL IT if they're hungry? There will be massive looting and killing.

What he says makes no sense. Food products on shelves have a definite shelf life. Why would stores stock shelves with items that will never be bought and why would producers continue to produce products that nobody can afford. Shelves may be stocked but only for a couple of months before old stock runs out, then things simply shut down.This scenario will be much worse in America where things are shipped by truck thousands of miles and people live far from agricultural lands.Europe is different

@alpidistra Your thinking in terms of current inventory and what the stores look like now. The items will still be there but probably not as much or in so many varieties. There will be those that have money to buy things but as time goes on that number will dwindle and as it does you will see the stores start to carry just what people buy most. I also think the small mom and pop store will come back for a time but eventually they will not even be able to survive, especially with all the taxes.
