It certainly does! However, it's the cell processor that allows the PS3 exclusives (Uncharted 2, God of War III etc.) to make better use of the graphics card within the PS3. Hence why they tend to look a bit better. As far as I know...

I just downloaded the god of war 3 demo the E3 version and I I finally felt like I'm playing a nextgen game I never seen something so amazing i felt like any other ps3 can be played on my 360 but this time I don't think it can run the demo. and now people are saying they made a huge jump from the e3 demo! graphics gameplay ect are you fucking kidding me! that's just amazing!

damn i want to see this footage already! it sucks that we have to wait until january to see it, Im glad at least here they had a pause screen in the background, looks lik the hades place judging by the screen, its a very dark place, either that or the forest that they showed in the trailer, but then again i could be wrong. Theres no doubt in my mind that this game wil be mindblowing. If they are right and it even beats uncharted 2 in terms of tech, then god damn its going to be sick! I want now!

I don't see how anything on consoles could look better than uncharted 2, well unless you run the game 1080p @ 60fps, but I don't see that happening and even if it did the over-all quality wouldn't be better, it would just proform more amazingly.

There are a few things you fail to realize. Uncharted 2 which was able to push the PS3 further, was still only using 5 of the existing 7 cores. Lots can still be improved in terms of graphics, fps, amount of enemies on screen, etc. So far they are able to fit approx 50 enemies on screen without suffering from a lower framerate. Also the original trailer you get to play is comparable to Uncharted 2 already (check out blood on Kratos when he kills, fluidity of movement, level of detail,etc.)

From what has been said, they have made vast improvements in all aspects to what we saw in that trailer which is from E3 over a year + ago. If they were able to update GoW2 to look like a first gen ps3/360 quality title, I am sure the finished product for GoW 3 will be mindblowing.
