so if i'm reading this right, what you did is simply hook up the speaker connection through a series to the speakers right? so every time the speaker make's a noise it lights the light? opposed to having to run 12v to the lights with a switch of some sort?

Had to take em back though.

I like my music loud *not really bass loud* and these speakers can't handle too loud.

that's nice but those Dual speakers works very well on my mother's mazda 323 with the stock cassette player (u probably know the cassette adapter to a mp3 jack, the stock cassette player sounds pretty good with my sony ericsson w810i cellphone) and if you want high quality speakers check that on partsexpress . com

Hey they are nice LED's. But truthfully DUAL sucks really bad. I have seen some Sub's with Blue Led's inside that was dual and they were trying to get them sold and they were extremly cheap. Also think, what if the light goes out? your fucked?

i know it is cheap but those 9x6 speakers sound good and the lights won't go out if I don't put more than 12 Volts on the speaker and the led's are kooked up to the speaker in serial ... and if the led's gonna burn the speakers continues to work.

did you just splice them into the wires running to the speakers or something else. I was gonna use the RCA's to my amp to push the speakers and then use the hifi oem speaker harness to light up the LED's.
