is the game easy to play for players that arent used to fighting games at all and using a ps3 controller. can 11 year olds play it.

@blazingemperor It's easy for beginners to pick up and do basic combos.

But you'll need high execution to pull off the extended combos of some characters.

@reeceyfezza so how fast do i need to press buttons for special attacks (Im using a ps3 controller) like if i press down forward with the d-pad or analouge then like if i press the square button after 1 or 1.5 seconds will the special move work . im actually concerned that can my 11 year old brother play the game and do special and hyper combo attacks cause hes loving the game and especially that vergil is in it.

@blazingemperor Well, most special attacks are done with QCF (quart circle forward/down, down forward, forward), QCB (quarter circle back, down, down back, back), or DP (Dragon punch/forward, down, down forward) motions.

To do specials you have to input the motion and then immediately press the attack button. It isn't a hard thing to learn, many youngsters can do it.

If they do release a 3rd version then I estimate it won't be until late next year or early-mid 2013.

But the most likely answer to your question is that they will release DLC that adds new characters to the game, etc.

It's in the NYC CC build. It shows up as KO pops up, which sucks cause there is no second build up of hype.

A little thing though not that big of a deal.

@anakinsol in my opinion, good players actually take time to learn new combos and techniques instead of taking time finding out how to make their single combo that powerful

@ConquestAztec Actually, as professionals will tell you, they use combos that they know that they'll never drop in a tournament situation. They only go for a different combo with slightly extra damage if they're going for the win.

Knowing multiple combos doesn't mean squat if only one of those combos is practical.

i never said that spamming isn't effective, im always losing against them, im just saying that it annoys me loosing to someone like that

i play by learning combos, techniques, and how my opponent plays to counter his attacks, all to have fun. so get off my back cuz that's my style of play

And I was never getting onto you about your playstyle, I simply stated that using the same combo isn't a bad thing.

Practicality is paramount.

@ConquestAztec every fighting game uses basically the same combos on most situations, because they're usually the most practical. There's no point in learn 2394872304 combos if one or two of them are the most practical and convenient. This goes for almost every game out there. I mean, look at Jun players in footsie fighter 4 Arcade Edition v. 2012
