This was at CES 2010 from Samsung. It's real it's not a trick. It can be used for many applications. They just put it in a laptop to show the technology. There are many possibilities like hud for cars, military applications and maybe even medical. There are many possibilities. Ever see the movie minority report where there are virtual greeters on large pieces of transparent screens? Well this technology can realize that type of thing.
