@Blastomath hate to break it to you but Carl both used and advocated the use of weed for most of his life. It's not just wiki that has that info but also his autobiography. He also used to post as 'Dr. X' on the old cannabis newsgroup (if you're old enough to remember that). He knew, quite rightly, that responsible use of the herb was just another tool to free the mind.
