  • I thinks its kinda funny "Power steering & Power brakes " I guess it was possible in the 70's (but unusual) to buy cars with out either. They still market options today as comes with Power steering & Power brakes..I think it might be standard by now

  • Sweet!

  • If rod bearings were loose, oil pressure would be low, not high. Plus here the engine is not fully warmed up, and super duty oil pumps put out a little more pressure too. I just sold '73 T/A I bought new in '73.

  • how much

  • @kelliyagurl I sold it for 20,000. Could of got 40 or 50 g's if it was running when I sold it. I pulled engine at 59,000 miles to soup it up, but never got around to it. I had all original parts and Buccaneer red paint. Never was even rained on.

  • Ah, the good ole days :-). Before the POSs controlling the American auto industry decided to be POSs, & ruin the show. Such a wonder GM went bankrupt.... Just look @the BS they've tried to sell for the past thirty five years.

  • Oil presure should b around 60 psi at 1000 rpm idle for the SD,,,,,,,80 psi when reving @ 2000 rpm when HOT.......rod bearings a lil loose dude...Been there...
