  • i love your name!:)

  • I don't think people get it. It did look sort of orangey, but thats why you put foundation over it. after that,it really helps and looks completely normal.

  • Great advise..Domo!

  • you dont have bad undereye circles at all. mine are inherited and there dark purple-literally NOTHING covers them up and idk what to do?! D:

  • you barely have dark eye circles :(

  • Wow, i've always used green concealer on my red skin but I didn't know why it helped but now I know it's because of opposite colours :-D and now I can use a yellow one under my eyes, so thankyou for this tutorial - you are very good! :-)

  • Thanks! => ...

  • Thank you so much

I have those purple circles under my eyes and this really helped!

  • Whats the orange on the palette a corrector or a orange shadow?

  • Does this color work for light/fair skin with pink undertones? I would hate to purchase it if it was in the wrong color group. Thanks :)

  • thank you

  • you dont have circles!!you have a great complexion!lucky you<3i love your videos you are really pretty!!!<3

  • You're really pretty, you don't need that much makeup! Have you found your colour wheel yet??

  • The salmon / orange concealer looks kind of sickly to me. I think I will stick to creating a bright eyed look with a concealer that's lighter than my base. I don't wear foundation, so I don't think salmon concealer would blend with my powder, but Mac Studio Finish concealer always does the trick for me to cover those under eye circles. :PPP

  • would doing something like this work for neutralizing the color of your eyelids too? i have the dark circle under my eyes but sometimes (like when im having a lot of allergy problems) my eyelids will have a reddish purple cast to them. if i put a lighter color eyeshadow over it, it can make the eyeshadow look weird.

  • Sorry, but you speak so fast that I can't possibly follow you.

  • you're really pretty!

  • Love this

  • thx for this video, it helps a lot :)

  • It looks too orange/yellow on u!

  • @Misbehave11 now by the end looks like an orange/yellow mask... not like an white mask ;)

  • when i first watched the beginning of this video I thought you already had on foundation and concealer!

  • What a neat trick! Covering up my dark circles has always been a challenge, I'll be sure to try this :)

  • how about if you use orange foundation like kryolan brand?

  • And how do you prime your eyes after concealing your eyes? That really something I can't really figure out.. Cause when I put primer over my concealer it gets all a bit messy.. And really my circles are 10x worse than yours :( so I háve to use concealer or faundation on my eyes..

  • I try the exact same thing for my dark circles and it works really well. thanks!

    rsanter1223

  • @proconsulaugustus your mean

  • 89 people have REEEEEEEALLY bad dark circles.

  • Awe, alright . thanks !

  • HEY Pursebuzz, I am desperately wondering what concealer that's called, the revlon one . because the other one you got at sephora is way to expensive for me . Please and thank you (:

  • @hanaelpineda I am not sure. Its just an orangy tone from Revlon. :( sorry

  • @pursebuzz ium so i wAS THINKING TO T PUTING PRIMER ON MY EYES AND IS A FLAT BRUSH OR POINT BRUSH BETTER

  • @hanaelpineda It's the Revlon Beyond Natural Concealer & Highlighter :) It's discontinued, but you can find it super cheap on Ebay.

  • @hanaelpineda It's called Revlon Beyond Natural Concealer and Highlighter =)

  • Hey PurseBuzz, can you please make a video on how to apply waterproof mascara? It seems a lot of your viewers are sensitive babies who cry alot. I'm certain they could benefit from a video like that. You wouldn't believe how much hate mail I get for teasing you a little. If only people took politics and science as seriously as they do makeup, we would have a more educated society. Unfortunately, it appears that applying makeup perfectly is their highest ambition. lmfao.

  • @proconsulaugustus

i kno this was pointed out to Pursebuzz but thats really rude. what is it ur business to about what shes doing with her life she makes videos to help ppl and if you cant take that then stop watching.

at first i thought ur comment was just a simple question but ur comment about her teeth was just selfish bragging and just plain immature.

    STOP IT.

  • I got about halfway through your email before I lost interest.I'm sure it was something deeply important.I know you shallow people take makeup very seriously and can't bare to stand the thought of someone belittling the painting of faces to attract mates or cover facial defects.I'm really hoping your feelings weren't too hurt. If so, let me tell you..I'm really sorry.Email me and I will send you a complimentary box of tissues so you can wipe all your tears up.Hope your mascara doesn't run.

  • i know that makeup will conceal, but what if you have circles genetically? any tips for that? (besides drinking water) x

  • You look better with no make up on :) thanks for the great tip!

  • Can you please tell me how to conceal hyperpigmentation? I have tried so many things but I can't find ANYTHING that covers completely. I have one spot on my cheek that looks like a light bruise when I have done all I can with the suggestions I have been given. Please send me your suggestions. Product suggestions etc. Thank you so much for all the help you have given. Your tips are always valued and appreciated.

  • u have NO dark circles!!

  • You look so gorgeous without makeup on you look a bit Korean

  • hey hun where did you get this concealer again, i really have dark circles, i'm hispanic so it is by hereditary that i have them, if you can drop me a meesage i would appreciate it thanks, and you are absolutely beautiful:)

  • are you filipino?

  • Good video but I don't believe In the colour wheel. I have prominent dark circles and The best tip a Mac makeup artist gave me was to use concealed the same shade as my skin tone and foundation rather than two shades lighter. Another tip I was given is to use a white liner pencil and sparingly use it under the eye, top it off with concealer ( as above) as it assits In neutralizing dark shades. Tried your theory but didn't work...Thnks for sharing though may work for others

  • @missnars87 I was told the same thing from MAC

  • Did u use orange shadow for darker skinned people??

  • why do you use your ring ringer?? its so uncomfortable!

  • @BeautyByPoppy Your ring finger is the most gentle for your under eye area because it provides the least amount of pressure. :)

  • @1softballlover96 oh cool! thanks a heap!

  • i dont see any dark circles under ur eyes! :O

  • wow! u look gorgeous without makeup!

  • view this

  • I hate my dark circles. They're not pretty..

  • Great nails! Are they real? Oh, and this video is really helpful. :) <3

  • I'm using the Conceal FX in X-Deep and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! I got it at Sephora, I HIGHLY reocmmend it! <333

  • hi! I know that you should use green with acne or red spots, but when I do that, it casts a "halo" effect on that spot. I have olive skintone and I don't know if that's a factor. or if it's the technique I'm using ...

    thanks!!

  • you remind me of susan mayer in desperate housewives! as in your voice and looks, pretty. :)

  • YOU HAVE BEAUTIFUL SKIN!!!!!!!!!!

  • Every single moisturiser I have found and tried (from basic ranges to loreal kind of ranges) works okay on my skin - but if I put anything at all on my eyelids they puff up! Any ideas why this happens? I have fairly sensitive skin, but I have never had this problem anywhere else on my body.

  • hmm does that coverfx come in different shades?

  • Great tip, thanks!

  • you said to cover up acne with green :O where do you find green that looks.... normal ? xD

that is foor covering up something on your skin!

  • yeah your cheeks look lovely <3 very sexy

  • Ur videos are amazing and have helped me so much thank u. Keep up the good work xo

  • I absolutely LOVE this tutorial! I'm anemic so I always have dark under eye circles, sometimes they even happen to look like a yellow colour, if you could recommend a concealer colour for a yellowish-yucky-brown/dark under eye circles... lol I don't know how to explain, :P I have a medium -light skin tone.. I like making my skin tone warm up but I have trouble doing it because of the yellowish under eye circles... PLEASE help ! :)

  • can you get that same result whit a drug store one?

  • can you tell me the name of the Revlon one? and is it true that you have to pick a darker foundation than your skin tone?

  • At 0:37 You say Up 'Till Wierd!

  • What polish/technique do you have on your nails?

  • If your in canada, u can get the Cover FX at most Shoppers drug mart stores :)

  • I was told that you would have to use your own color to conceal it. am i wrong?

  • I would honestly love to see ALL your mae up set up in one room before you move. you have so much make up!!

  • if concealer creases under your eyes(where wrinkles start to show), what can you do? What if the concealer creases even if you put something like powderflage over it? Can you put udpp or the primer potion for complexion to help prevent it from creasing?

What is a cheaper alternative to powderflage?

  • do you wear a retainer?

  • @GuitarLvr21 no why do you ask?

  • @pursebuzz

can you show how you did your nails? thank you

  • Comment removed

  • @pursebuzz and yeah do u wear retainers?

  • @GuitarLvr21 whats a retainer??

  • @XXloverbabeXX1 basically, metal braces that you wear on your teeth, when sleeping and/or awake. Erm. I think- These retainers can be fully removed, but it's advised that you shouldn't- b/c they're helping straighten-out one's teeth.

  • you can get Cover FX at shoppers drug mart too

  • Can water get rid of spots??

  • Thank you so much for the tips.., i love your energy n good nature your one of the warmest makeup gurus on youtube.

  • Elessa, I LOVE YOUR nails!

  • Where do you get a color wheel? I desperately need one.

  • You probably got this comment already but are you using a different program to render color? I notice that the color has improved and it's looking great even in 320p.

  • wow, aren't we lucky to have makeup! They do miracles!!!

  • I HATE that white mask...its something fresas like to do for some reason...its so annoying to me!

  • i have their concealer in the tube and i don't like it

  • Nice video. :)

  • how do i pass my math test? water. yes.

  • LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!! :)

  • I have the Revlon one and it covers up the blue/purple really well, but when combined with my foundation, I get really bad creasing. Do you have any ideas on how to prevent that??

  • @jessica276 I get really bad creasing too. Help, Elessa!

  • So the MAC concealers are pro only?

  • Awesome :) Thanks so much for making this video!

  • your teeth are so white, how do you get them like that??

  • this is really good for me because i get really dark circles under my eyes from lack of sleep all the time, but i have really fair skin. its really white sooo do i use a different color???

  • great ways to use one product

  • Hi my skin tone nearly matches urs, cud u pls let me know what shade is the revlon concealer in that u r using?

  • thats smart! w/ tha color wheel thinggg ndd truee if u think abou it! thnxx:)

  • it looked kind of obvious at first, but in the before and after pictures, it was really good! how do you recommend blending your foundation and under eye concealer for best results?

  • This is so helpful, I have genetic dark circles, and people have remarked rudely about it before, even though I sleep enough! Do you have any tips for making them seem more filled out, my bags are more sunken, not puffy but set back, with a clear line, which is more common in older women! I'm only 16! I have very high cheek bones, and these make them look more sunken. do you have any advice? Anything would help, any illusion to make them look less sunk would also help!

  • @oldgregg93 have you tried using white eyeliner or putting highlight in the inner corner of eye..to open up/brighten the eye area...try applying blush differently (at different angles) on apples of cheeks vs. applying along the cheekbone to create the illusion that your cheek bones arent so high? hpflly tht helps!

  • Great tip!

  • I have found using an NW under my eye a little too orage so I mix it with an NC and iworks great!!!

  • jaundice

  • This is always a tricky thing for me because I have dark circles and am fair... I have tiny fine lines from years of squinting, and everything I've tried so far hasn't helped... I wear a gel eye mask at night until it looses it's coolness and that helps.

  • you're face is orange, it's horrible =O

  • I'm currently using the Laura Mercier camouflage concealer, I'm in utter love with it, it has 2 colors, blends out nicely and if you pick the right shade, you need very little foundation for it to match your face, it's amazing <3

  • Very good video and advice! Thanks Pursebuzz!!!!!!

  • You're the best Elessa!

  • What is the name of the Revlon concealer?

  • @TheJnnfrrrr Its the Revlon Beyond Natural Duo Concealer & Highlighter, but its a discontd product from revlon. you shud be able to find it online :)

  • just wondering if any of these concealers are any good for oily lids? i hate it when my eyeshadow smudges or separates :(

  • thank you so much for doing this considering darker skin tones !

    it means a lot :)

  • You don't even have circles! =)

  • do you find that your concealer cakes up under your eyes? cause i always have problems with that..

  • @MakeupObsessedx3 Do pile it on? Do you set it with powder?

  • As a darker tone I have found that red lipstick (yes, gurl...red lipstick) a creamy red dabbed on and applied gently with the ring finger then adding your foundation on top aids in a flawless cover of dark circles on dark skin (black women). Your vid was helpful as well...I'm going to try the orange and see which one I like best!

    (✿◠‿◠) Kokofemme

  • thaaank you so much for this video, haha. I'm 15 years old and I already have terrible dark circles under my eyes. I used to try using this concealer stick, it was like the same color as the Cover FX foundation you used, but it always dried my skin out, even with moisturizer. so thank you, your videos rockk. :)

    xoxo

  • Great Video!! Why wet the sponge before your apply the concealer on?

  • @1SidekickAddict because it helps smooth out the concealer and you don't soak the sponge with concealer :)

  • Very helpful video, thank you. Btw, you have great skin.

  • love you pursebuzzz. so glad those comments dont make you stop these videos... thanks so much girl :)

  • love ur videos :_)

  • I have a two month old son now, and I can't afford make-up right now (need if for diapers and such), but I love the tips and tricks you give. I'll try them when I can afford to. Keep itg up! :D

  • @rinishoko ohh look for bogo sales. Congrats on your little one :)

  • @rinishoko you sound like a good mum and a nice person :)

  • @rinishoko I sometimes go to the "eyeslipsface" website .They have an "essentials" section for each thing (blush, concealor, etc.) where you can buy makeup for dirt cheap ($1 concealor for example). The makeup isn't studio quality, but it's just as good as drugstore products. Shipping is usually $6-7, but even if you buy 6-7 things you're still only spending $2 per product which is still cheaper than drugstore prices+tax. Search for coupon codes on google too to save more!Good luck and Have fun!

  • dont listen to the others! you are very smart and talnted! I love your videos!!!

  • For fair skinned girls like me it's hard to just get an orange concealer without it looking too stark that's why i just always get the lightest concealer the brand has.

  • @xoxojess94 me too. I am "clear" LOL. But lightest concealer works for me. But thats just me..every skin tone has it's own tricks : )

  • @wilfire77 yup us fair skinned gals have to go Albino lol ;)

  • @xoxojess94 Lmao. Amen to that. <3

  • This was very helpful. Thank you!

  • great video! thank you so much. it is my biggest problem :-s

  • hello:) im sorta new here so if u wanna check out my channel and maybe even sub i'll always return the favor :) thnx!

  • @AlyMay89 so what?! there are so many repeated videos on youtube. the idea is not exclusive. plus, i think the more videos, the better, especially because both of them are very informative.

  • @AlyMay89 did she really? Most people dont' sub to everyone so you can't expect everyone to just watch her video. I haven't seen her vid but I am sure hers is great as her videos are. I also recall doing a video on concealer back in 2007 soooo it doesn't really matter who was first because if we start to play that game I'd say Amy04 and pb wins. So does that mean if MAC made the first eyeshadow Lancome can't make shadow now? Just curious on your thoughts? thx

  • @pursebuzz oh, i love how you deal with haters pursebuzz,

    you're pretty classy.

  • @pursebuzz i like the way you think!

  • @pursebuzz well said... some people are so childish when they see others do a similar video to a subject some other guru covered. it's kinda annoying and i like that you actually responded. you are awesome.

  • @AlyMay89 omfg! Tiffany did not invent the things she was talking about! Neither did pursepuzz. i hate how ppl think youtuber "gurus" invented makeup techniques. How lame. These techniques and tips have been around longer than you and I.

  • @AlyMay89 lol you sound very stupid.

  • @AlyMay89 they're many gurus that do videos on cosmetics and youtubers familiarize with different ones and can learn something different from each one even if it's on the same topic. I like Variety and I feel it's better to learn from many then from strictly one source every person has their own technique.

  • @AlyMay89 It's not like these sorts of tips and tricks are classified secrets. Anyone with half a brain could figure out these things on their own. It's just helpful to be able to watch multiple people, who have different techniques of application, different products to recommend, etc., to find out which tricks work best for you. How many Urban Decay Naked tutorials have you seen? Whose was first, or does it really matter?

  • @AlyMay89 So did Pixiwoo... so did MakeupGeek, whats your point? Who cares

  • Great video it was very informative :)

  • Thanks for doing this video! pretty helpful!

  • I've beem waiting for a video like this. I have a huge problem with darkcircles. Thank you so much!!!

  • You look absolutely gorgeous in this video! Bags and all... Although you did a good job of concealing them!

  • are you supposed to use an eye primer before you put concealer on?

  • i <3 you elessa! thanks for the tip :D

  • Why're u all giving her a hard time with such pointless comments? I mean, she explains her video very thoroughly, kindly, AND patiently for all of us. Honestly she's giving us the best advice you can find on youtube for godsakes, stop complaining. And not to be mean, but it's common sense, seriously. If you're a darker tone, or just a different skin color, just pick a concealer that's 2 shades lighter than your regular skin tone. Think for yourselves, jesus! And STOP COMPLAINING!

  • this makes sense i went to mac looking for concealer and the mac artist gave me nw 45 and my foundation color is nc42!!! i was like what the hell! but damn it if it doesnt work perfectly under my eyes!

  • Is that orange color from the palette a cream of a powder eyeshadow??!

  • The concealer looks yellow, not orange.

  • my dark cirles and bags are worse T.T"

  • I loveeee this!

  • i'm up till 3am everyday, lmao

  • u kinda sound lik kandee johnson to me lol

  • what if im drowning, if i drink water will it help... loljk love you Elessa

  • i think it actually looks good in the end.

  • Mine get black..

So do I still the orange?

My skin tone is brown like tanish-brown.

So when I get the dark circles they turn black and I look like a panda xD

    Would orange help?

  • I love your nail color, what is it? :)

  • @mamkute Its my color block tutorial :) thanks
