my friend use 50 blue led lights around his plants and they grow short but i bet he couldn't grow shit if he didn't have the led's and he think i cant grow good using cfl's he is just cheating
Have you seen any advantages to LEDs? Seems like an awful amount of wiring and lights for such a spindly plant. No offense I know it is an experiment but you can get better results from CFLs for I'll bett half the cost and effort. I am looking forward to seeing how your experiment turns out though. Over grow the planet.

i wasted 107.00 bucks on these dumb lights
you can get a great 150watt hps light on ebay
only uses 8bucks a month 10max..led suck there
not really good for plants hell walmart sells
an 8dollar grow light flouresent that works
good..last over a year

i would suggest blue leds for vegatative(less strech, right color spectrum) growth and use the red in flower
