im getting a race blaster motor and putting it on my 82 honda atc 125 3 wheeler and putting on a suspention so it should go fast.and i like your quad verry fast you should do a sppe test.
thats a hell of a job man i just picked up a blaster frame an extra parts with seized motor for 75 dollars an was awantin to do a bike engine swap BUT now i think i will bet a little bigger frame an do this SICK JOB BRO
@krisjames3 Thanks for commenting man. This project started with an idea, a partially stripped sportbike and a quad rolling chassis. I had to work with what I had and fabricate along the way. Each step leading to the next. It was mostly welding tubing and sheet steel together with some machining to make spacers for the rear swing arm and suspension. I guess what I'm saying is there really was no plan, just a goal. There should be some interesting updates soon.
@nclark557 Thanks for the ?, I have about $800 in materials into the quad and about 84 hrs worth of fabrication time. so figure 3k if I only charge my self $25/hr for build hours and nothing for design hours. I was riding it in 4" of snow last week and it was surprisingly well behaved.
thats soo awesome man :D
where did you buy the ltr chassis from? and where the cbr motor from?
i got exactly the same idea as you had :D
