I never thought I'd ever hear an effect that actually sounds worse than the old Frampton-style "talk box"--but that was unbelievably cool sounding compared to this! It is my sincere opinion that the vocoder officially moves contemporary pop music into the proverbial toilet (which, of course, is where contemporary pop music belongs). Now, will someone please pull the chain and get rid of this sludge? Ugh--double UGH!
