  • AWESOME CHANNEL!!!!

  • Always loved this band and of course the afterbirth, "The Blue Birds"...Seeing Miki and the boys at Humphries...Just brings back the times I lived in Shreveport...Thanks for posting...

  • I was working in Production at Channel 12 when we did this video. I shot most of the studio footage (Miki closeups, etc.--mostly at the beginning of the video). My friend Dale did the studio lighting and of course, as mentioned, Gilbert Little did all of the editing on a "computer controlled" 1-inch reel to reel tape editing system. I remember being very proud of the product and yes, I'd love to see A-Train at Humfrees again!

  • @w5kxo WAY KEWL! You guys all did a magnificent job on this.

  • Yeah, I used to see these guys at Humphries. Those were the day!

  • I so wish that I could hear A Train singing Holiday Love here on Youtube!

  • @curlyperm1 Ditto that! I remember that was one of my favorite songs from them.

  • I never thought I'd hear this song again! Thank you soooooooooooooo much for posting this!!!!

  • Nice! Takes me back to the old Cadillac Jack days.

  • Sure represented Shreveport, back in the day.

  • Yay! I love this. Miss those hot summer nights at Humpfrees in the Square.

  • Also, the video itself—It speaks to the message of the song perfectly, and the production quality is quite good, especially for a first effort. My favorite part is the baptism scene...The Channel 12 folks did it long before the Coen brothers!

  • @windchicken What memories :)
