Cool! I have on as same as yours. And it was very fun to drive! I always use my sled couple times per winter. Because I have other 2 sled that I have been using it. so my other sled is 1973 Rupp Nitro 400 twin cyclinder.
True that man, I collect Ski-Doo and Alouette snowmobiles, but I like other brands too, I live just 45 minutes from the old OMC factory in Peterborough, Ontario, your Norseman was probably built there.
keep up with the good videos man, i'll be posting riding videos of some of my sleds this winter.
ya i had a 72 olympique last summer and when u sat on the seat it was so low and it compressed so much that ur knees where up to ur chest when u sat. and ur arms were up so high it was like a chopper. haha
But I have two 1973 Rupp Nitro 55 hp 400cc 2 cyclinder (200cc per cyclinder) is REALLY fast sled and REALLY fun to drive. I took my sled and went to go really fast to see how fast my sled can go, and I lost my nerve at 85 mph @ 6,200 RPM but I still have some throttle left. 0-60 in 500 feet.
whoooah that was insane fast..

60 is fast for you?
glasseater90 3 years ago
trust me, if you were on an old sled like this with bogies a tunnel mounted motor, 60 is overkill.
SkiDooBlizzard292 3 years ago
you definately have never driven an old sled before, i cans sense it.
going more than 45mph on an early 70's or 60's sled is not fun at the best of times.
