I think that Alex ettyfer would work best in a movie! He looks so much like the Jace I envisioned in my head when I read the books. Ms. Clare wrote in City of Bones, that Jace didn't look like a mean guy or a warrior. He was supposed be really good looking and sweet looking, and then have a personality that suprised everyone. He was supposed to look innocent. Cassandra compared him to both a lion and an angel, (which makes so much sense now!).

Honestly, there isn't really an actor that fits the Jace I pictured. However, Garrett Hedlund would be a great Jace! He's easy on the eyes and could pull off the character of Jace. He doesn't have many movies out but the ones that are currently out mostly everybody has seen or at least heard of them. And he's only 26 (which is the same age as Alexz Johnson...) Yes he's a bit older than Jace but that's done all the time.
Lol, I don't get why Emmett Cullen is there, but anyways, for me, it's def a battle between Alex Pettyfer and Garett Hedlund.
But anyways, we really can't tell, but Jace is meant to be a really STUNNING guy full of ANGST. The guy who will play Jace's role shouldn't have an innocent face, he should have a bad guy face.

I think that Alex ettyfer would work best in a movie! He looks so much like the Jace I envisioned in my head when I read the books. Ms. Clare wrote in City of Bones, that Jace didn't look like a mean guy or a warrior. He was supposed be really good looking and sweet looking, and then have a personality that suprised everyone. He was supposed to look innocent. Cassandra compared him to both a lion and an angel, (which makes so much sense now!).

@Britin101 honestly i'm not sure...but someone who can come close to being Jace---> Ian Somerhalder though he looks older than the character in the book but somewhat a reasonable fit i think no?

@megokwazy Ian is GORGEOUS! And he has the attitude. I don't really see him as Jace because of his age and hair color and stuff but I'm sure the facial expressions he'd make would be brill! lol he certainly has the acting talent to bring Jace to life, I'm not sure how he'd look with blonde hair *giggles* but I wouldn't be complaining if he was cast.

I always imaged JAce a totally bad boy type, but also gentle and really charming and seductive <33 ;) he's funny and arrogant but totallyl HOT!!! he KNOWS he's hot also:P <33

Honestly, there isn't really an actor that fits the Jace I pictured. However, Garrett Hedlund would be a great Jace! He's easy on the eyes and could pull off the character of Jace. He doesn't have many movies out but the ones that are currently out mostly everybody has seen or at least heard of them. And he's only 26 (which is the same age as Alexz Johnson...) Yes he's a bit older than Jace but that's done all the time.

Lol, I don't get why Emmett Cullen is there, but anyways, for me, it's def a battle between Alex Pettyfer and Garett Hedlund.
But anyways, we really can't tell, but Jace is meant to be a really STUNNING guy full of ANGST. The guy who will play Jace's role shouldn't have an innocent face, he should have a bad guy face.
We really can't tell but maybe there's still a guy out there that will play Jace's role perfectly.
For now...it's either Alex or Garett.
I'm excited for the movie!

@ilovepepperoni Kellan Lutz is there because I have seen his name floating around on sites and blogs. And I am not really sure I agree with you. I didn't picture Jace as "stunning", this isn't Twilight were all the guys are models. I pictured him good looking, sure, but not traffic stopping. I think they need to focus more on finding a good actor to place Jace and not worry so much about how he looks.

Alex Pettyfer is perfect for Jace.. First time i red City of bones, i already been on the net to go see actor or guy who looks like Jace.. When i saw alex, OMG!, it was him.. The way i imagined him, everything.. Perfect for Jace... :)
