a line implies that it continues infinitely in two directions, even if the whole line isnt penned in... it follows that both ends would meet SOMEWHERE, and thus form a circle. thats what I think of when I hear "no straight lines in nature". zoom in close enough on any "line" and u'll see a transition of one value to another, so I dont think any kind of line really exists in nature. Speaking of geometry, a point in mathematics is always the starting point of geometry in any dimension. (A point in mathematics has position but no magnitude).

Question: Is a point sacred? Or not. Also, is a point more sacred than, say, a circle, and why?

Also, if you have a rotating flat disc (filled circle) with its point in the centre, does the point rotate too? (Remember definition of "point")?

And so it should be sacred. I cannot imagine that a circle, which needs the nothingness to exist, would be more important. So yes. Unless you disagree.

You are correct... on one level. In our conventual, three dimensional universe, there are NO perfect straight lines and NO perfect circles.

BUT... this universe is naturally multidimensional and in the conceptual, two dimensional universe, perfect circles and perfect straight lines are absolutely possible. Sacred Geometry is The Architecture Of The Multidimensional Universe.

So i would go by her place at lunch and adjust them so they looked straight but were in fact askew--- moral of the story- never let me have keys to your studio

Fractal geometry is what can be used to describe and know the organic and physical, but this is the geometry that illuminates the world of ethereal space and Spiritual consciousness. Or so I think. Just a Euclidean geometry is a precursor to this Sacred geometry in it's fundamental assertion that all can be derived from it. They simply overstepped the bounds of it in ancient times

If you consider the division of the one single dot, wherever you assume it, you'll see that there ARE perfect straight lines. Their observation is arbitrary, yes.

Two dots, wherever they are, if connected, no matter their positions, form a straight line. That does not mean the line is right THERE, not "seen" as such, for we're too used to attributing appearance to the concept of line, when the only ever conceivable concept of true line is invisible.

I cut them with a tile saw and play with patterns and always fall back to the 7 circles... then fill them with half circles and 1/4's and get "pretty" patterns... today this becomes an "aha" moment... thank you for this Charles...
