Did you shoot that gun in front of her first? Did she know what would happen when she pulls that trigger? I showed a fried of mine to shoot my 9mm and it was his first time shooting a gun and I shot two mags first and talked about what it'll do in your hand, and what you should to be safe and hold it and such. It's just like I said on one of the other versions of this clip. The person in charge should have payed attention to how she was holding the gun. In some states people use shotguns to hunt dear because other guns like 30-06 or 270 shoot projectiles way to for to be safe in that area. It is common to use a scope and a rifled barrel wich can make it effective up to 200 yards.

This isn't video games. Shotguns have an effective range MUCH farther than 10 yards. I have a Remington 1100 Sabbot gun with a scope. I've made a kill at around 75-80 yards with it. Scopes are useful.

I understand that you may use slugs to shoot much further ranges than with #4shot (or something like it) but that is the minority rather than the majority of uses for a shotgun. Secondly I contend that you don't need a scope to shoot 75-80 yds down range. A scope is a useless and is something to waste your money on when it comes to shotguns
