  • lol. only 27.2% of gm's were recommended and 33.3% of lincoln's were recom.

  • nice but not my type of car i like the PORSCHE GT2 RS BETTER

  • @tsab13hmong please no manches

  • Corvette just lacks style now. They were way more stylish with all the curves back in the 70's. Bring back the curves. I liked the Corvette Stingray concept FAR better than what is on the market and seen everywhere on the streets. Its got far more style and curve to it. Just an opinion i dont care if people agree or not.

  • hey Harlan Charles, you are a cool guy, not like the other redneck or douchebags makeing car vids. make more!

  • That guy look and sounds like he's been snorting crack the night before.

  • @3rdEyeVision snorting crack? you don't by chance watch alot of 80's cops or early D.E.A. shows do ya?

  • lol what he means is you can see a piece of plastic on display

  • did you at any point open up your hood when you started the car to see what that is? because it sounds like it might be a belt.

  • QUE FEOS SON LOS COCHES AMERICANOS...POR DIOS........UN LAMBO,, UN FERRARI....HASTA UN ASTON.... DEJEN DE HACER COSAS QUE SOLO VAN EN LINEA RECTA POR DIOS....QUE FEO ES EL CORVETTE ,.,.,,FEOOOOO

  • ZR1 is sexy !!!

  • the HP2g is a 400Hp 500Tq. 100MPG engine AMERICA IS THE HEAD OF ENGINE TECHNOLOGY just found a cool 100ft. flag pole for My old glory and a bow-tie to fly under it

  • @sirlonghair What is America? If I have a 6500cc engine with 2 huge turbos swalloing 50 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers, how many horsepower will I probably get?

  • @noname69690 well this vet gets better gas mileage than a GT-R and 5 or 6 other smaller displacement cars if your afraid of displacement wrap some kerosene rags around you ankles so the ants don't bite your candy ass

  • @sirlonghair Because I care about my pocket I would never but this or any other vet.

Gas and car taxes ain't a joke here. So I need a car with small deplacement, fuel economy, and good performance if possible. And this is not other than the Audi TTS.

You see, I live in the poor Greece, the place where the taxes are having a party, and unfortunately, I'm not a businessman neither a rich boy.

  • Callaway sledgehammer 254.7MPH 20 years ago just imagine what a vet can be now.the LS3 is simply the baddest engine maid in the world today you can order one in the mail from nelson racing engines for $52,000 it arrives dyno tuned broken in and producing 2,500Hp and 2,000Ft.Lbs.Tq.and that's expensive but you get what you pay for from nelson you could build it your self for 10 grand less if you know what your doing you couldn't twin turbo a lambo for that much and it isn't as light or small

  • this is realy sexy car i love it! ... American muscle.... !!!

  • Today on the Discovery Channel we have the Nissan GTR's natural predator, it is also known to viciously prey on overpriced Euro cars and their badge snob owners.

Many anti ZR1 people more commonly known as Homosexuals have become very dillusional when talking about Cars, due to an excess of Carbon Monoxide and Carbon Dioxide in their bloodstream that was a result of their Jap and Euro cars eating ZR1 exhaust in a race.

  • Ok so... European supercars build their stuff out of carbonfibres because its a great material to use. Corvette only use it on a couple of visible parts so they can claim its a carbon fibre car when it really isnt.

  • @Janusha WRONG - Corvette is the world leader in carbon fiber light weight body panels. Porsche and Ferarri just use it as an interior dress up material. The new Lexus LFA and the previous Porsche Carrera GT do have carbon fiber in the structure but are both heavier than Corvettes. Check the facts!

  • Hahahahaha world leader. Wow.. big words there.

Lotus built the first carbon car 40 years ago. And Corvette with their carbon roof and front splitter is USAs closest attempt. Dont bullshit me please.

  • @Janusha I am trying to teach you something. We are talking about production cars you can buy off the showroom floor. The ZR1 has Carbon Fiber hood, fenders, floor, roof, b-pillar, and floor. Lotus , Ferrari, or Porsche do not have anything close to that. Sorry to shatter your world but this is area where Corvette and Americans are leading the world.

  • Oh dear... you are so misguided. A carbonfiber car is more than floor, b pillar and roof. You see people use carbon to keep the structural rigidity of a conventional car but with alot less weight. Using carbon in these areas dont accumulate to any significant weight saving so its just there to show you carbon when they really dont use it in any significant way. Look at Koenigsegg or go to Mclarens homepage. Those are the leading in the field. Ferrari, Lambo have found other ways of doing it.

  • @Janusha yeah ur right but the lord of carbon fiber is still F1 Mc Laren

  • Mclaren and a LOADS of other cars. None of which are american.

  • @Janusha You are comparing some old piece of shit Lotus to a Corvette ZR1? lol that's pathetic.

  • Oh Im sorry.. did I take the holy ZEE ARR ONEs name in vain ? How unconstitutional of me.

  • @Janusha so wear is that engine that competes with the LS3 you said there was one and Gm designed the magnetic suspension and used Delphi as a subcontractor on parts of it so it was GM's idea and money and first partal development

  • Hahaha.. you bewildered flag waving fool. Give me a break.

  • @Janusha you troll without a bridge to stand under you told me to look up magnetic suspension(Chevy) and wear it comes from I did and you didn't like that I was right all I've asked is for you to name an engine making the possible power of an Ls3 that is as light and has as much Tq. and cheaper and you have skirted around the challenge AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL AND POWERFUL My flag waves proudly

  • You can ask Google instead of asking me cant you. You wont take my word for anything anyway. Flagwaving annoys me.

  • @Janusha because your word is shit

  • Exactly. so why ask me stuff.

  • @Janusha because you spew sewage

  • You really are pursuing this arent you. You relentless, apocalyptic spambot.

  • @Janusha TROLL

  • G419 is no longer part of NNN

it is now "The Smoking Tire" so if your wondering what happened to the next season its been up for a month.

  • I'm not a fan of boosted engines because of the added complexity and costs but kudos to GM for being magnaminous enough to make this available to the public at a fraction of the more well-known exotic car makers.

  • but boosted engines get you SO much more power

  • I know of several tuner shops that can get you that amount of horsepower without adding boosters. One way is bigger lungs like the Pratt-Miller C6RS, which has a 500 ci small-block V8 pumping out 600 hp and 600 lb.ft of torque while sipping E85. Jay Leno has the very first one.

Like I said, I don't have a problem with GM getting this out there for an adoring public. I love it that they did.

I much prefer simplicity and that's just a personal preference.

    :-)

  • cheapest fastest car 4 da price

  • @joseacevedo559 nope.jpg GTR

  • why is he whispering? is he scared?

  • what a load of poo

  • Es una auntentica pasada chaval!!!!!!!

  • thats great bo some burnouts pussy!

  • My Friend just bought an 09' ZR1 Corvette for 130K. Let me tell you all, That thing hall's ASS. He took me for a ride in it on the highway one day, and it felt like when we were going 60mph, it felt like 90Mph because the new Corvette has so much power. The only thing that I didn't like about the car was the Plastic engine cover. Everything else on the car looked awesome.

  • Is there any particular reason you feel like capitalizing all of your "A"'s?

  • capitalizing on my dick homo lol

  • Good reply. It made sense...to you....I hope.

  • bhahahaah =/ wow bro

  • you dont get the carbon fiber body and roof, the protection coating on that roof costs 10,000 dollars a gallon. you wont get an aluminum spaceframe. the zr1s engine is placed lower and further back, it has a different trans ans clutch, it has a magnetic ride, its al lot more than a supercharger and the brakes of a ferrari enzo!

  • @EatmyDust1311

Its a myth that it has brakes from an Enzo.

It might have brakes from the same company that makes brakes for the Enzo..

However.. the Enzo is what 9 years old.. Congratulations on catching up.

  • @Janusha they are the same brakes, carbon ceramic brembos, yes, but everyhing is the same. however, the ones in the front arean inch bigger on the zr1 than the enzo. just shows where corvette is going and where ferrari is

  • ya and the zr1 gets them as a standard not as an option

so you can take your mythical brakes and shove them up your tale pipe.. all 15 and a half inches of them

  • one thing im glad they kept simple on the vette is the gauges...so many cars now a days have digital and all this unwanted crap by the gauges..vette has a simple easy to ready layout

  • i will own one in the near future...i promise you even if i have to pay $ 200,000 for it...it would still be cheaper than buying a Ferrari, or Lamborghini

  • corvettes seem to be ego magnets.....

  • I hate these plastic engine covers. Let us see the real engine...

  • that is a intercooler for the supercharger. looks stupid, but its not jus a engine cover

  • we even used the Van in Consturction hauling around heavy ass shit. worked better then our ford.

  • hahahaha d3m shity ford got non3 on da zr1

  • fukin sexy

  • best car ever created if i could get any car i would get a bugati vyron then sell it and buy one of these in each color.

  • This is my fav

  • THAT MUSIC IS AWESOME!!!!

  • this guy doesn't know shit about this car. my grandmother could have told me more about it than he did.

  • Does he say invisable carbon fiber.. WTF??

  • he said in visible. which means its clear coated so that the carbon fiber is exposed.

  • lawl at the product manager. He barely knows anything about that car. "We got a carbon fiber hood, wider fenders, naked carbon skirts and lips. OH, and we even put a spoiler on it!"

    So fail.

  • You think they take kidneys as a down payment?

  • man they could of atleast road it an show its speed what a waste of space

  • o no the best of car is italy.... lamborghini gallardo 1967

  • That GM marketing dweeb was weak; they should have had the ZR1 Chief Engineer run through the technical details.

  • jeez is that all he can tell? Damn what a waste of space on youtube

  • this car wazmade 2 kill the viper srt-10 acr (american club racer) it pisses on lowly mustangs and laughs at lambos (just not in corners) lol

  • Probably in corners aswell. How has Lambo done in car racing when compared with corvette of late?

  • IDK THE EXACT SCORES ITS JUST LAMBOS R M-R AND 4WD TO BEAT, THE BEST OF BOTH worlds not f-r like corvettes ill give it chevy has done great by a 49/50 weightratio though

  • I said that because Lamborghini competes in the GT1 class at lemans with the Corvette and offers no competition for it. The GT1 class until the last couple of years has been utterly dominated by the Corvette since the debut of the C5R, it is now a heads up fight between Corvette and Aston Martin.

  • true, true... i am surprised at the way it handles... i just think that an m-r 4wd will tend 2 handle a little better if we really get down to it than a f-r. i kno that in acceleration and top speed, we could beat just about nything this side of 300-500K

  • Nice pics, show some vids of it eating a mustang! Oh and whats up with the soundtrack Reznor? LOL Luv ya guys!

  • this car gave me a boner

  • Where do i sign my life away to get one??? lol

Id like to see a P.O.S. Mustang go up against that. That vette would send it back to the factory with its tail between its legs. haha

  • that machine kill easyli kill a mustang!!

  • Yeah sure but I don't think Chevy even considered the Mustang when this car was being developed.

  • very nice car,

  • mustang killer

  • I want it so god damn bad.

  • and our new feature the clear window on the hood, so every one can see the writing clearly, DOUCHE BAG. and our next feature is a self help book, audio version, on why it is ok for you to waste money on a plastic dildo looking car. and did i mention that a spoiler creates down force and reduces uplift.... Some one shoot Dr.Obvious, now.

  • fuck off bitch

  • if you don't like the car... then go back to watching your gay little ford mustang videos, there's a video of the roush P-51a out there somewhere, just go watch that video and dream of that fully built mustang beating this vette. because that's all it will ever be... fantasy, a dream, not real... in other words FORDS SUCK. if you don't like chevy, then just go back to sitting in your corner, and pretend that anything is better... but stop posting stupid comments about TRUE SPORTS CARS!

  • n how many ZR-1s have u seen yeahh umm none n i can guarantee u the 1st one u see ull end up breaking ur neck trying to look at it

  • 2 and they were both following the speedlmit u arrogant ass.

  • Comment removed

  • you wanna know what's faster than the super snake? my foot going up your ass for posting such stupid comments! I was stating a well known fact, fords are designed to break/fail so the ford mechanics can stay in business... ask anyone who's worked in the business for a while, or anyone that has any schooling on the matter. why don't you hit me up when you've driven something with more than 3-cylinders, you festiva-loving freak!

  • our ford explorer has broken down so many tiems, first the 4WD system broke so now its allways on, then the power steering broke, and becuase of the 4WD system allways being on, if u don't go fast enough it brakes down. my dad trained as a Mechanic and takes very good care of it. its just that its a ford and it suks. only 370,000km on it. our chevy van had 890,000km on it before we got a new car. it worked fine then just couldn't make it up hills.

  • we even used the Van in Consturction hauling around heavy ass shit. worked better then our ford.

  • @spenser8806 exactly thats why they are in buisness only to turn a profit

  • @spenser8806 ? not anymore. ford has the best reliablity in america right know.... and thats a fact.

  • @paladain55 is that what Mike rowe said

  • @paladain55 chevy is not even that far behind and the zr1 is an exception

  • @tuugfo yeah kinda, except how the skimped on the camaro when it came out. its too plasticky and cheap looking on the inside, the rear seats are just decorations because they are too small to sit in, the windows are too small, and the pillars really restrict vision. i think if they used a lot less plastic, and opened up the exhaust it would be a lot nicer... mustang forever.....jk

  • @spenser8806 break and fail? lol dont hate. the only problem my dad has had with his is a bad left rear shock, and he has replaced those with eibachs. ford has the best rated quality in the industry on all their new models. chevy only cares about their corvette and Cadillac, and the camaro is a piece of shit.

  • @spenser8806 hmm. all the fords my family has owned, we havent ever had anything wrong with them. just put gas in, change filters/fluids and tires. i dont understand why people say fords are designed to break when chevrolet has had more recalls than ford? i like both brands equally, and i dont see why everyone hates on each other. if anything hate on the foreign brands. from consumer reports 39.2% of chevy vehicles were recom. and 51.8% of ford's vehicles were recom.

  • This is great stuff, especially the older comments about how the car that set the all time record at the "ring" doesn't handle. Perhaps these people need to rethink their comments ,or better yet, and for your own credibility, just shut the hell up.

  • 24 mphg you cunts go usa, further the record for worst production car fuel economy is from the forward thinking germans and their bugatti.... oh by the way this old school (push rods...gasp!!!)ride holds the nurburgring record, don't forget it cause numbers don't lie.

  • WOW, a LS series engine with a blower, thats real cutting edge stuff. LOL

  • who to you prefer, jennifer beal, or jennifer lopez?

  • Mesa Arizona GM desert proving grounds. Great shots.

  • they need to redesign the steering wheel.

  • Your not attacking us?? You recognize the different thought processes, yet you dub us as

Typical Americans. You now nothing of Americans and very little or cars, maybe you should take your little dream world tour on another site.

We typical Americans recognize bullshit when we hear it. It's ok to hate America ass hole. Don't try to blow smoke our asses and pretend you are some knowledgeable Euro.

You are a poser. Your grammar and writing skills define who you are. Hmmmm ass hole..

  • i don't see how a 628hp car that cost $115,000 is cheap.

  • and when you said that the headlights look stupid, that is emplying that they are stupid to everyone, you don't make it sound of your opinion, yet a fact. get over yourself.

  • theautochannel ~ com/news/2007/12/26/074022.1-lg.jpg

    looks nice to me

  • i have been ready for the zr1 to come out for over a year! when is it gonna hit the street ofically? i cant wait to see thing spank like everything!

  • bannanajama u cant say its cheap unless u can afford it

  • The front lights are just plane stupid

  • The head lights are HID's which would pretty much blind you if you looked into them. (if you don't know what HID stands for then look it up).

  • Not good reply enough. Not satisfied. Something better please

  • or you just don't know how to respond to it.

  • All of you ricer freaks don't recognize the true power of the ZR1. It will rape and asian and exotics ass BAD. The ZR1 is one bad car and all of you know it weather you want to admit it or not!

  • Comment removed

  • You still don't get it. The new one is simply amazing. Everything about it is amazing. Like I said, it is better than all of the exotics out there. The old 80 vetts were a total disapointment, not the new one. And how can you possibly say that the old vetts were better styled? You just don't appreciate true american muscle!

  • Comment removed

  • jesus christ, you're just the typical european bitch boy that only cares about interior, and just loves picking out the little negatives in a car that beats all supercars in the same price rang and above. why are you even watching this video if you don't like the vette. oh wow, you don't like the front lights lol, who gives a shit..oh wow you don't like the interior of the zr1, which is leather and very nice. you're just an arrogant euro that bitch's to much. go watch your Golf vids.

  • Comment removed

  • lol you live in slovenia, i bet you can't even afford a $40,000 car, poor boy.

  • yes but its done that way on purpose not because we cant do it.

  • I wouldnt mind puting that engine in my 89 nissan 240sx coupe (no im not a drifter - auto x and drag is my thing - only about 5 times a year)

Anyways - the specs on that engine are amazing!

For you people not in the US bashing on the car and the engine - and especially the fucker who tried to compare it to F1 - fuck you!! And Enzo's and all that shit - only a select few - maybe a few million worldwide have exotics - let me tell you something son... LS engines are mass produced - USA FTW

  • Garage 419 Icon/TV Bug is annoying by always being on the video, gets in the way of close up shots of the vehicle. Ok, Garage 419 we can see your proud of your show, but car guys want to see the CAR not a BUG

  • no your not the manager! i am the real manager. jk.haha

  • its called 0 - 60 ... traction? ??? none of these cas have traction to 60 yes they are high eaters and will kill 200mph. but ntot 0 - 60 which happens alot in this country as highways are not big here they are small. and 5000 to us is $10000 to you as ur country is shit and inflation is killing the dollar. so a 600hp skyline is easily buyable here.

  • 600 hp skyline for 10,000 in American dollars? Somehow I think you are fibbing, if not, still not very impressive. I purchased my 86 T type already running 11.50s@118 for 6k. It runs nearly high 10s now with not much invested. 0-60? have you ever seen a drag race? I cut a 1.6 60 foot time, common amongst drag racers. Find an exotic that can do that. You have things backwards. The exotics are the high speed machines because their suspensions are not tuned to launch.

  • Anyway, quit changing your story. First you tell me you race your car at a track, and then the truth comes forth that you don't even own a car. Second, you imply that you can purchase a 600hp skyline for the same price as a used LS1 car in America. You then change your story and say "oh, 10,000 American dollars after the exchange rate". No longer a relevant comparison now is it? It's obvious you don't know much. Come visit, I'll gladly take you to the drags to teach you about acceleration.

  • yeah but thats it isn't it. lol if i had 5000 i could get a 600 hp skyline which would 0 - 60 in times un heard of in the u.s. have fun in ur street car mate. YOU ARE SO COOL.

  • You clearly don't know how popular drag racing is here if you think a 600 hp skyline will produce "un heard of" acceleration times. Number one, somehow, I doubt you can buy a 600 hp skyline for that much. LoL, do a search of videos on youtube, 03/04 mustang cobra, LS1 Z28 turbo, etc. The acceleration performance you speak of is a dime a dozen here.

  • what u on about 650 a dream number in my country since when has high horsepower been a problem in the u.k . all of the f1 cars bar a couple are made in this country . lotus - the best suspension in the world. rolls royce -the best class in the world. range rover - the best 4x4 in the world. never said i was an engineer. i can do science just happened to never heard of BMEP. don't have a car at the mo. too expensive insurance. u just wanna brag i was interested in the stats. what ever mate.

  • Haha, I talk about common American STREET cars, and all you have to compare to them are FORMULA ONE racing cars, or extreme upper echelon luxury cars owned by very few individuals. We go to this from you comparing a gillion dollar super car (ferrari) to the same LS1 that is in used Camaros and Firebirds going for 5000 dollars on used car lots all over America. That my friend is superior engineering.. when I can own an engine that produces the power in cars you will never own (f1, enzo)

  • rite but you CRUISE, i'm in to my cars for real not just to cruise and maybe do some pulls on the freeway. I use my car for TRACKS which have corners on them and things called apex's but don't listen to me. just go CRUISE.... cause thats cool. you do realise f1 engines are goverened and have strict guide lines on power they can produce well over anything a v8 from a nascar can they just have to limit them . they also redline at 18000rpm thats from a 3 litre v10.

  • are we talking about engines or are we talking about how you believe that you know how to drive? Make up your mind and stick to the subject.

I can't blame you though. I would try and redirect if I realized that 650 hp was a dream number in my country out of any engine. That must really suck, actually I feel sorry for you more than anything.

  • btw, do your research! Nascar is far far far more restricted than F1! Nascar still mandates carburetors and approx 8000-9000 rpm redline for Gods Sakes.

I notice you are ignoring the BMEP numbers too. It's quite clear at this point that you are no engineer or man of science.

If you want to talk about driving we can do that somewhere else, but please dont pretend that your car is fast or I'll laugh. End of the day, I own a car that can hang with an enzo in acceleration. My reality is your dream.

  • there you said it ur self the ls1 block is 430 lbs thats 20 less. lol. as if u gave me the weight of an undressed engine to make it seem lighter. you see the thing is ferrari know how to make awesome v12's and v8's.

  • the way i see it is it's 70 lbs heavier but it has another 4 cylinders which is half the ls9 block. and 3 more cam shafts. nothin at all when you think about it that way. lol the ls9 block redlines at 6600 because they wouldn't know how to strentghen an engine to rev highly. and for your infomation the ls1 is 457.6 lbs..... and hp is not tourque vs rpm. horse power is a measure of power calculated by multiplying torque times speed and dividing by a constant based on the unit of measure used.

  • LS1 fully dressed is 430 lbs. (source Chevy LS1/Ls6 V-8s by Will Handzel. Pg. 38, top left table entitled "The LS Gen IIIs") That includes alternator, power steering pump, air conditioning compressor, decorative coil pack covers, and starter. Without these items it is well under 400 lbs.

HP is a multiple of torque and RPM. Note that you said it is divided by a CONSTANT. Constant means that it never changes thus it's effect on the outcome of this calculation is the same regardless torque/rpm.

  • Revving an engine high is not an efficient means of making power. You run into diminishing returns as friction and pumping losses become a greater percentage of parasitic losses. It is however a means of overcoming inefficient cylinder filling due to poor camshaft/intake/cylinder head design. Formula 1 engines are even only slightly better than a Nascar V8 with "old" pushrod technology. Both of which are at a BMEP of about 220 psi. More cams do not make magic happen.

  • enzo v12, 6 litres, 12 cyls, 650 hp, externally bigger than the LS1, weighs more, displaces less. Costs substantially more, very limited production. 650 HP LS1s are at every cruise in/hot rod meet in the USA, every day. I'm quite sure you really don't understand how common and unremarkable it is at this point. When all of your "mates" are driving 600+ hp LS1s and you drive a 600+ hp 3.8L pushrod V6 built in the USA in the 80s, you aren't very impressed by the enzo engine's specs.

  • any 1 more thing i doubt anyone on you tube has ever heard of people boasting about hp per square inch of external dimentions.? hp per litre is a commonly used. if you can only extract 60 odd hp per litre of capacity like the old vettes then u clearly don't now what you are doing honda on the other hand can get 100hp per litre and thats out of a 1.6 natuarlly aspirated. you can't seriously think anyone cares about HP per pound of engine weight.. when hp / litre is such a common analysis.

  • horsepower is a multiple of torque vs rpm. If you were dumb and wanted to waste a lot of power on friction, a lot of money on very strong engine components, and eliminate low end torque, you would want to make low amounts of torque and spin the engine to ungodly rpm to make any HP number you want. It's not efficient though and not a sign of technology. Cylinder pressure is a direct representation of how well designed an engine is. Compare BMEP between your heavy inefficient multicammers to LS1

  • BMEP = 150.8 x TORQUE (lb-ft) / DISPLACEMENT (ci)

You'll quickly learn that your multicam crap boxes do a pretty terrible job at filling their cylinders effectively. A wankel is a perfect example of making something that is not complex and effective, however wankels are notorious for poor emissions, fuel economy, and torque production (back to that annoying concept of hp being a product of torque vs rpm) thats why wankels have to spin so high. Enzo's engine 450 lbs? lol 70 lbs heavier than LS1

  • lol more parts as far as i i'm aware the wankle engine has the least parts to any engine and generates a silly amount of horse power for the size and also it is efficient. dude the new ls9 engien produce's 620 hp that from 6.2 litres and a supercharger. the enzo's engine only weighs 450 lbs ( i work in kg's so hope thats correct. ) but its a quad cam v12 so 4 more cylinders. lol my dads saab 95 is 2.3 turbo it has 275 bhp and it delivers 38mpg.

  • yeah it looks good but it won't touch anything from our side of the pond. lambo lp640 carrera gt. if it keeps up you'll have finally finally built a car that can compete in the super car market. lol hp/litre is a good statistic if you are into ACTUAL ENGINEERING lol AS APPOSED TO SHIT WE HAN'T GOT ENOUGH POWER ERM......LETS ADD A COUPLE OF LITRES INSTEAD OF WORK ON IMPROVEMENTS. dick head.

  • How about lets talk about HP per pound of engine weight. Or HP per square inch of external dimentions? Tell me what relevance the internal displacement has to anything? Please don't say efficiency either. Most supercars are saddled with gas guzzler taxes that the Corvette has avoided through technology.

Building a huge engine externally with small displacement and tons of rotating mass is not technology. It's idiocy, and you'll find it under the hood of your beloved european sports cars.

  • Dimensions rather...

The GenIII/IV V8 is amazing. 380 lbs for a complete engine, 30+ mpg highway in a corvette, and half the size of engines with half the internal displacement that are common in european sports cars (ford products aswell). Your eurocar engines don't even come close any performance parameter when you consider these facts.

More moving parts, larger external dimensions, more weight, more friction... these are the hallmarks of these multi cam euro engines you hold so dear.

  • ZR1 is WAY BETTER than any VW/porsche/lambo product.

  • <
