Awesome! Billy Murray is my favorite artist. I'm really glad you shared this. I've got a lot of his music on shellac. Did he have many out on cylinder?
I have a standard D too, but instead of a cygnet horn I have a 30 1/2 inch petaled horn. I made the horn crane. I have just put a couple of videos on youtube. Two of my edison standard D and one of my edison diamond disc phonograph. I still need to put one of my standard B on.
Thanks for the treat. I first discovered this Billy Murray when I was a kid. Got a stack of 78s from an aunt. They were stored unused next to an old wind up victrola. Anyway, biked home with a stack of records wrapped in newspaper, in the rain. One of the records was "Take Me To The Land Of Jazz." Another was inst. version of Bam-Bam Bammy Shore. Also records with a different artist on each side. Sure wish I still had those old gems. sighs.
Wonderful! Billy Murray is always such a treat! Such a great machine too!

Yes, Billy Murray recorded quite extensively on cyllinder records, both on two and four minute records.

Edison dropped the spoken announcements some time in late 1908/early 1909. Victor, on the other hand, dropped the annoucements in 1903.

Wow you know that is old when you have the introduction at the start. I have yet to buy one that has it on it but mine are all discs.
