If you have 1,500 Powerup Rewards points, you can get all 3 Resitance games for $23 after $5 off each. That should tide you over until Resistance 3 comes out. I only have enough points for 2 coupons, so I may skip the PSP game.
Man I feel sad because I went to gamestop today and I did not know what to pick uncharted 2 or resistance 2 and I finished uncharted and said it was amazing and when i saw this video i was amazed and mad at myself for not getting this game

My only gripe is that the sights on some of the weapons don't line up right. You're aiming OVER the rear sight (peep type sight in most cases) instead of THRU it. That's jacked up. Also, the crosshair remains on-screen while you're "aiming" which is redundant and confusing. Also, there should be no Picatinny rails or M-203 in a game set in the '50s. They should make the grenade launcher look more "retro" like the lesser-known Czech experimental VG-70 or some Project Salvo type of thing.
Best. Game. ever. I've played 'em all, and resistance is the underrated king of FPS. Thrilling story, thrilling gameplay.....can't say much for the multiplayer. I never tried it. I've played halo and Reach was remarkable, but Resistance is one of those goodies that stay with you, like your first Orgasm.

I really wanna ps3 cause my dad and me bought a wii, and aside from wii sports and nhl 2k10, my dad really isnt liking it too much. He loved gears of war before my 360 broke down, and made us play it with him, and always gave us the ultimatum of chores, being grounded, or playing gears of war with him when he got home from work lol. He loved playing madden 2011 on ps3 today, and with him loving halo 1 and 2, do you think he'll like resistance 2? P.S. He likes having co op in shooters too.
to me, resistance 2 is the best fps game that i've played to date, which includes KZ2, halo 3, Gears of war 1 & 2 and MW 1 and 2. I still however prefer the multiplayer in KZ2... mostly because i absolutely hate how the shotgun is pretty mch useless in multiplayer, if you ever want to effectively use the shotgun, u HAVE TO use its double blast, otherwise ur garenteed to die. i also hate the idiots who friendly fire for no reason.. but thats not the games fault

I think resistance 2 multiplayer is the best one along with mw2, i terribly disliked kz2 multiplayer and online gameplay, no splitscreen and its slow and very clumsy, no crouching or take cover system like in the campaing(thats what i find most annoying) is just about run and see if you can kill someone, on the contrary resistance 2 or mw1 or 2 requires some cunning and good timing to win. well that my opinion.

I hate the arcarde aiming 'halo' feel. KZ2 also takes lots of cunning, but watev. thnx for the suggestion tho, found it to be effective.

@MrShitthead as a suggestion for using the rossmore shoutgun I recommend to shoot first ONE blast and THEN shoot DOUBLE blast, have good aiming and if u want sure kills use the prototype ammo berserk with the double blast.
Great game and multiplayer, but theres something that i hate of the multiplayer, with some weapons i need more than 20 shots just to kill one guy, so i hope they fix that for resistance 3!

the easiest convetion prosses makes grim, they are easy to create, and spinners (bugs you see on the ground throught Resistance 2) can spin cacoons to transform them, lot of spinners, lot of grims, lot of zombie aliens smacking the crap outta you

Killzone 2 = Gritter close quatars shooting (in most cases) it's takes it's self pretty seriously and it's more realistic then Resistance 2. Online is very competitive and lag free.
Resistance 2 = Onslaught of aliens, variaty of enemy types to keep you on your toes. More spacious then kz2 (not as close combat oriantated) and amazing online action! Lag free of course :)
Same dude. No matter how chaotic it gets. My PS3 gets little to no lag. The closest i've gotten to lag is a like a 2 second delay between me shooting someone and them dying.

to be honest i liked resistance 2 more than the original. i don't know why, but the second one resonated more with me. however, i've never really been a fan of its competitive mode but resistance 2's co op mode is fantastic. really was the saving grace for its multiplayer
I like Resistance better than most shooters. Don't get me wrong, because I still like other shooters.
I like the Resistance games because of it's unique atmostphere, and I love the story as well. Not to mention, the guns in this games are top notch! :P
The Co-Op in this game OWNS everything out there, its simply incredible. Wish the price would drop, I've rented the game 3 times because i keep thinking the price is gonna drop sometime soon, still 60$ though... goddamn good games never drop lol

@NerdyTurd307 Half-life 1 & 2 aren't at all like related, only the fact that you have a crowbar and you're still Gordon Freeman is the only thing alike. But, I agree HL2 is NOTHING compared to HL1

Zombie aliens = grims
the easiest convetion prosses makes grim, they are easy to create, and spinners (bugs you see on the ground throught Resistance 2) can spin cacoons to transform them, lot of spinners, lot of grims, lot of zombie aliens smacking the crap outta you

Killzone 2 v Resistance 2? Which one too buy?
BOTH if you can.
Only able to get one? Well...
Killzone 2 = Gritter close quatars shooting (in most cases) it's takes it's self pretty seriously and it's more realistic then Resistance 2. Online is very competitive and lag free.
Resistance 2 = Onslaught of aliens, variaty of enemy types to keep you on your toes. More spacious then kz2 (not as close combat oriantated) and amazing online action! Lag free of course :)

Same dude. No matter how chaotic it gets. My PS3 gets little to no lag. The closest i've gotten to lag is a like a 2 second delay between me shooting someone and them dying.

to be honest i liked resistance 2 more than the original. i don't know why, but the second one resonated more with me. however, i've never really been a fan of its competitive mode but resistance 2's co op mode is fantastic. really was the saving grace for its multiplayer

I like Resistance better than most shooters. Don't get me wrong, because I still like other shooters.
I like the Resistance games because of it's unique atmostphere, and I love the story as well. Not to mention, the guns in this games are top notch! :P

The Co-Op in this game OWNS everything out there, its simply incredible. Wish the price would drop, I've rented the game 3 times because i keep thinking the price is gonna drop sometime soon, still 60$ though... goddamn good games never drop lol

in june i was debating to get a ps3 or a 360 so i went to one of my friends house and played halo 3, it was fun but alright it felt like 1/2 of a game because of the story and then i went to my other friends house and played this, it blew me away
