Us in Canada make sure our drivers are safe. It's a show for the audiance not to go out and kill eachother ffs, and if ur compact car is so much better post a heat and let me watch it. The derbies i run in we do 4cylinders and 6's depending on the wheel base. i do the bare minimum to my cars nothing ever gets reinforced.

this looks like a derby that one could see and build in the parking lot waiting for the show to start lol. can that green taurus/sable even be counted as a compact? seen them run here in NE as a full size after putting imp subs under them, they took the top 4 of the top 5 places at the show
@digspeed this is a very very VERY poor example of a derby in canada. i mean...they were allowed to keep the windshield in... and cars are no where near as solid as they are in central and southern states. but thats better because they crumple more! which is what should happen in a derby...
this has to be the straightest stock derby i have ever seen. I don't know if there are video's but look for uxbridge ontario derbies. they are better than this
@JosesDonkey2112 ic, well in NE we like are car's as clean as possible. crumpling is a bad bad thing around here. we love to weld and forget when to stop. lol at the same time id like to see more "stock" shows just so more ppl would get in the sport. anymore around here you iether have to have buddies or a hell of alota money or your car's ganna be junked real quick
