Translating Vladimir's songs is a failed mission. All words in his songs has second meaning. A person who tries to put them into other language should be at least a poet. His songs when you listen to them in Russian give shivers, his performance is unique. Now when I watch this interview I can see how little Americans could understand about Vladimir Vysotsky and his songs. One thing I have to say about this: this video just demonstrates how americans are manipulative and rotten. All they tryed to do during this interview is to make Visotsky say how bad the Soviet regime is, with no respect at all to this great author.

The bottom line is, that during the 60's-80's USA and USSR made great propaganda against each other, with one difference: the Soviet propaganda was USUALLY right!

...and: Visotzky RULES, as ever! They made him great injustice in this video.
