  • @Gabyisms lol I meant I got mine for *$10

  • What a good primer

  • I got mine for, four dollars! Not 40.

  • lol softflex doesnt blur your imperfections... its a simplified name for technology that locks the colour pigment into the silicone in the product

  • does it cake up??

  • i tried this and its great. does exactly what it says

  • @MsJasmineolivia does it look good for flash photography ? im wondering because i have grad pictures coming up (:

  • @jenneyxoxo03 Yes it does! since it has a very low spf it doesn't give that white cast when you take photos and it lasts a long time. I wish I had this foundation when I took my senior pics!

  • I see your unimelb timetable on the fridge :P

  • amazing! all her imperfections gone!! i need this ASAP

  • hehe wow American Girl here- my walgreen sells it for like maybe at most 10 bucks!

  • Comment removed

  • oh wow thats crazy! in canada its only about 14 bucks!

  • wow 40 dollars! I live in the US and at the most it's 12 bucks!

  • i hate that doesn't matter how I apply it, this always cakes on me :/

  • OMFG, $40 for drugstore foundation?! Is that the same thing for clothes?!

  • @simplyxtracy for clothes too yeah. i bought a cardigan recently for 35 and that's a reasonable price :l

  • it's $10 in the US. 40 is outrageous even in Australia!!

  • that price is crazy!!!!!!!!!! i got mine for 9

  • how long did you use this foundation for before you made this tutorial? what happened to me was, when i started using this foundation i LOVED it. but after two weeks max, it started looking too cakey (no matter how i applied it), too thick, difficult to apply and just too unnatural.

  • I get mine for 10 dollars

  • this was a really good review, it gave u great coverage thanks so much i know for sure im getting this now.

  • i swear its not more than $10 =S ....

  • @jlbreyesbaby in the US yeah... but here in australia all makeup is wayyy more expensive....

i mean, one MAC eyeshadow costs $32, just for a comparison for you :s

  • you sucks fuckers

  • @thezeeshan2233 wtf is your problem?

  • did you use a powder after? Also what shade would you recommend for a light british skin, ivory is too light for me but beige is too dark

  • @lanniapple they have a shade in-between called 'buff' its the second colour and i'd recommend trying it!

  • @lanniapple mix them

  • thats why i didnt like this foundation. i'm yellow toned. even though my mum is pink toned T_T so its good on her. but i'm so pale.. that the lightest colour just looks like crap on me :((((((

  • thank you ! i havent had a foundation that wont melt on my face after a few hours! im excited to try this!

  • yup australia sucks money-wise :( going to america soon and can't wait to buy so much cheap makeup OHOHOHOHOO

  • ahhh that makes sense now..You live in Australia...HENCE the $40!! :O

  • I was in Australia and I know how expensive Revlon is there. I get mine for 7.99 in the states, sometimes even $5.00 when on sale. I love this foundation, I think its the best :) Great review.

  • wow this is great!

  • $9.99 at target! :)

  • What shade are you?

  • im not sure if i missed it in your video but is it light, medium or hard coverage?

  • I've used this foundation for like 2 years and its been $13.99 every time I've bought it...

  • $40!?! i can get 4 of these!!

  • @FriendsJunkie101 LUCKY! lol in australia the cheapest liquid foundation is $25. T_T

  • @TheCherrytouch woww! im sorry! :[ thats how much a mac one would proly cost :s i would never wear makeup if i lived where u live! haha

  • I got it for 13 dollars....

  • would it be okay to apply it with a sponge?..

were can i buy a brush like yours?.

  • in the usa its only 6-10 dollars

  • omg it is amaizing! it makes ur face looks so natural and it realy covers all the red dots

  • WAT????? In america the highest ive seen it was 13.99! For 40 dollars I can get high end stuff at sephora. and isnt the australian dollar worth more than an american dollar?

  • wow !! for $40 dollars I can buy a Makeup Forever HD foundation where I live ^^

  • u talk too much i guess..whuhuhuhu

  • i got mine for 5 at target

  • 40 dollars!? I got mine for $10

  • @roseblehh im guessing u got it in the USA haha, she didn't.

  • @roseblehh its expensive there because revlon is mainly a US brand, so shipping it to places like Canada, China, Australia, etc. gets super expensive :)

  • yeah, this is why it sucks to be in australia! like literally everything is double the price :((

  • Comment removed

  • Repurchased it in september at target, costed me 9 bucks..

  • Not good for sensitive skin. Too strong. I have acne prone skin and it completely irritated my skin.

  • I bought it for 13 dollars.Don not know why you bought it so expecive.

  • @Stasalj no where in australia will it be $13, its rrp is $37.95. even on sale its max $30

  • @immandrew It is a pity.The best foundation that i had.

  • Hi! What shade did you use? Please tell me because I would love to get this!~

  • wow at target in the states is $10

  • when i wear glasses it comes off on them. HELP!

  • it's 12 pounds here in UK

  • woah it's like 8-13 dollars in virginia!

  • Wow your gorgeous. I can't wait to go & get this!

  • what was your shade >?

  • You guys keep comparing the price. But you know the currency all over the world are different. Countries like US has strong currency.

  • Its only $10 in the U.S

  • It's about $30 here in Singapore.

  • gosh thats alot of money compared to america

  • i use that foundation, but i have really oily skin and my make up comes off quick. i use the combination/ oily skin, ive tried so much and this is the only make up that stays on for the most part.

  • 25euros in greece !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrNinara ehoume revlon sthn ellada??? :0

  • I buy for $10 bucks

  • I've put off from buying this for a while because i didn't want to spend so much on a drugstore foundation but i picked on up yesterday at target for $21!

  • yes, $40 in aus for that foundation, so depressing

  • Hi I bought a shade too dark for myself in REVLON ColorStay foundation if anyone's interested in buying it my eBay channel is MaggsK and I currently have no bids :) xxxxx

Oh and also I don't send to buyers outside of the UK :D xxx

  • It's like 30+ close to 40 bucks in Singapore too. :(

  • ooooooooooooooooooooooOO: thats expensive!! igot mine on sale for 7 bucks O:

  • i love my revlon colorstay foundation too ,its my favorite cant live without it ,i think its the best drugstore foundation ever

  • Comment removed

  • finally an Australian guru who I actually like watching :) I really do hate our prices here. it's ridiculous

  • you look flawless! must get! thank you!

  • thanks for such a helpful video. I have oily skin so i am definitely buying this foundation tomorrow and try it out.

  • what color did you buy your foundation in?

  • It cost 10$

  • OMG! it's only 48 ringgit in malaysia which is like 20sing only for this foundation!

  • I love this but like the comment above I find it really hard to apply. I think im doing great work but when im finished I do look plastered! any suggestions for applying it with a normal foundation brush? cant afford a stipling brush and hate hate hate sponges!!!

  • @gra174933 IT REALLY HAS TO DO WITH WHAT U USE TO APPLY IT AND A MOIST SPONGE NON LAYTEX IS THE BEST I FOUND.. OR DAMPEN THE BRUSH UR USING THAT WILL HELP SHEER IT OUT AND JUST GO LAYER BY LAYER BUT U DON'T NEED MUCH!

  • is unscented?

  • 40 bucks?! Ok, that's just flippin ridiculous! In the US, the price stays true to the fact that it's a drugstore product. It's only like 10 or 11 bucks whenever I buy it in Walmart, I got it for only 4 once during a sale!

  • At the walmart in my city it's 10$ and only 12$ in walgreens

  • hey! what was the second brush you used? the bigger one...

  • i'm a little worried about it oxidizing. i only apply foundation to acne so i hope that one part of my face won't be dark, and one part, light at the end of the day!

  • I somehow can't master the art of applying the Colorstay without makeing it look cakey. I'm still experimenting with all the suggestions, though. Would you have any suggestion to combat the white cast produced by Colorstay when taking pictures with the flash? It looks horribly white on me!

  • :O in canada its like 15 bucks

  • love the video and i am n love with this foundation i adore it it works soooo good and its thin with goood coverrage and doesnt break me out! XD

  • what powder did u use?

  • BTW my clients love it as well and its inexpensive liquid foundation for your kit especially when you see the prices of some of the products out there.

  • thanks for this!very helpful-hate how people give this foundation a miss especially makeup artists.I am one and I love it.Its not cakey I dont think its how you apply it that matters.Ps-you are very sweet and natural. xxxxxx

  • @nadiasflevy thanks love :)

  • I applied this using a buffing brush from Real-techniques by Samantha Chapman and it looks super flawless but natural. I couldn't imagine applying it with a flat foundation brush unless I had really troublesome skin and needed ridiculous coverage. Also, I worked in sections on my face instead of trying to put dots of foundation and then blend all over at once. This stuff sets so quickly that you need to do one area at a time or you will have cakiness problems.

  • In Canada it's $17.99 - $19.99 depending on where you get it.

I bought mine at Shoppers. I got it only because of all the great reviews it's getting. I've only used it a couple of times but I am still having trouble applying it. :/

Do you make your brush damp before you use it?

  • @RabiRose nope i don't :) You should use a good foundation paddle brush or sponge :)

  • @RabiRose i use it with the fingers it seriously work perfectly and pad some powder on it =)

  • Where did you get it in the us its only 11-13 dollars

  • What Powder Did You Use? Btw I Love Revlon Colorstay Also! I Do Have To Blot Once But Thats About It! Which Is Good For Me Lol =)

  • what u use..medium or nude color?

  • it's noncomedogenic? i'd like to try out but i'm scared, i think that foundation can be bad for my acne skin

  • Great to know that you're also NC30 =) So i also got a Fresh Biege 250. Initially, it appeared a bit too pinkish on my skin, did that happen to you? I couldn't really tell from the video, and it really does appear kind of pink on me esp. when under sunlight. But later on, like you said, it may have oxidized and it seems to match my skin more. I haven't really checked how the color changes after a few hours in the sunlight before though~

  • do u think this foundation would work good with a stippling brush?

  • @00roseycheeks00 yes it does. thats how i apply it. its amazing!

  • in california its u can go to target and get it for $12. i use it and i love it. I think the price depends on where you live.

  • @jluv1295 That's so true. Here in Nashville I pay about $10 and that's with tax.

  • you should buy it on ebay, it would be much cheaper!

  • WOW I know I pay 70 dollars for mine because 1 US is 6 of my country's dollars plus shipping but wow.

  • if its $40 for a drugstore foundation how much is MAC over there?

  • @bjayyne i think MAC is the same price.

  • @bjayyne about $60-70

  • What is your eyeshadow please? Thanks.

  • omg 40 dollars for a drugstore foundation!? :o thats crazy lol in amerca its like 10 dollars.

  • @ktowncheerleader07 yeah australia is crazay

  • Comment removed

  • @roseannetangrs bcos Aussies are rich =))

  • @ktowncheerleader07 in romania is 25 dollars revlon colorstay,and photoready 28

  • does it block your pores?

  • Why is it so much over there??! My gosh forty dollars! Over here its no more than ten!

  • @BrooklynGirl11 Australia has a higher cost of living and Revlon is an American company that simply supplies it products here. That and we have our 10% GST and taxes and fees to ship and supply this foundation. HTH!

  • @jewels931 Thanks for answering :) I'd stilll like to live in Australia one day, even with the cost of living so high. It's probably so much more beautiful than it is in America.

  • HI! What color do you use?

  • This is what I use, the best! These are great tips. Girls, ladies, guys, check out my channel for my anti aging skin care secrets. I'll be 56 in April and no one believes me. I started them in high school. Remember, good make up looks good on great skin. My 20 year old son told me I have to put my secrets out there because no one he knows believes my age, the tips are very inexpensive as well. Hope you check it out and like it. Never too young to start anti aging care. Love to all!

  • HI! What color do you use? Sorry my english! Kisses

  • I love this review, but honestly i think this foundation is too rosey for your skin tone. Just a personal opinion I had the same problem but i got one of my friends to get me the color golden beige from the US since there is such a limited variety of colors elsewhere in the world.

  • @MissMN2010 ohh okey :) thanks for the tip :)

  • hi roseanne, if you buy in changi, i think it is only S$15.00 or if you buy in Jakarta, Indonesia, i think it is around S$15.00 as well :)

  • @belumakanpisang really! good price!

  • @belumakanpisang changi? where exactly?? Hahaha I wanna buy the foundation as well, loving it!

  • @deeyanna92 hmm i saw it in perfume and cosmetics store in terminal 1!

  • @belumakanpisang thanks!

  • thanks for the review :)

  • @melanie1190 no problemo!

  • I love your nail polish color!!!

  • @jKelli95 thanks!

  • Where can you get the brush? And what are you using at 5:23? Btw great review. :)

  • @JimmothyDean the first brush is a foundation paddle brush by Smashbox, and for the one at 5:23, it's the manicare artiste professional stippling brush. The first you can find at any smashbox counter and the second at Priceline in Australia or ALT in Singapore, I wouldn't know about the states tho :) thanks!

  • I love this foundation so much >3< I got mine for 4.99 USD because the store I went to had an overstock and wanted to get rid of the extra so they marked it insanely cheap ^^ I used mine all up!

  • @Raku awesome!

  • hi, great review. very thorough.

  • @greatshowhero thanks!

  • you got ripped off.. i got it for 12.99

  • @Sweetcaramel591 yeah in Australia, makeup is really expensive :(

  • @roseannetangrs

ooo im sorry, i thought you lived in the states! but wow.. thats alot !

  • @Sweetcaramel591 Makeup is generally more expensive in foreign countries. I work in cosmetics and every tourist comes here and stocks up on a zillion products because it's so much more expensive where they live.

  • Dang Singapore's price for Revlon Colorstay is pretty ridiculous too for me.

  • @babynur96 yep! but it's better than Australia :)

  • hi roseanne!

I'm from Singapore too! Currently using MUFE Matvelvet, but I'm really fussy about foundations! I always don't finish the bottle lol! Anyway I have prom tmr and I was wondering if I should stick to MUFE or get a Revlon! I have acne-prone skin btw uggh

  • @misspiggywearsprada if you like the matvelvet stick with it, it's tomorrow :) but the revlon is really good, might not be super great for acne prone since its very high coverage but great for covering blemishes. :) Have fun at Prom hun!

  • I got this and it's great! love that it's transfer resistant so it doesn't get on my phone. great coverage but not cakey at all! amazing! thanks for the rec :)

  • @1942evelyn hey love, I'm not sure as I've never seen your skin color and I don't really change shades from winter to summer :)

  • what powder foundation do you use on top?

  • @OoLaalaaaa because it's high coverage, you can just use a powder with little coverage. here it's the maybelline dream matte powder :)

  • how does this compare to the mufe hd for you?

  • @mikkitopia I honestly like the colorstay better, better coverage in my opinion but not as blendable as the MUFE :)

  • What is it that you did with the second brush towards the end?

  • @melao9 you mean the one I set my foundation with? it's a stippling brush much like the mac 187 :) but this one is cheaper, the stippling brush from artiste professionel, you can get it at Priceline
