  • still boycotting BP till I die!

  • what will cars be running on? water but only from the mexican golf AHAHAHAHA im funny

  • Fewer gallons of biofuel than was dumped, what up w/dat BP?

  • Because it takes passive idiocy to have a culture that gives corporations human rights and lets them rape us and nature with their greed.

  • fuck you bp

  • What are cars going to run on in the future? Leaves, trees, dolphins, garbage, etc...

  • FUCK BP right in the cornhole

  • Thanks for posting.... it was this very ad that made me stop buying BP gas back in 2005. These people are incredibly stupid / eco-friendly.

  • @corporaterule Congrats on making one of the dumbest remarks I've ever seen. Do you think McDonalds real name is "I'm loving it" also? It must be it's on all of their commercials and print ads, right? It's called a tag line, DUMBASS!!!!!!! SO FUCK YOUR GROSS IGNORANCE, you stupid right-wing, rush limbaugh loving, fox news watching, Sarah Palin seems like a genious when compared to you.... WHORE!!!!!

  • Those people are the average people on the streets of the US. They aren't "the stupidest" people, they're you, your neighbors, your co-workers, etc. The average person in the US doesn't study energy forms, uses, results, emissions, etc., but cares about those things & is usually willing to listen to those who do study such things.

The person calling their neighbors "the stupidest people" either needs to move to a new neighborhood or educate the children in the neighborhood to change the future.

  • It's not called "British Petroleum" you stupid paranoid assfuck, the company's name is BP which stands-for "Beyond Petroleum," the name shows up on every BP commercial uploaded and shared on YouTube and every full-page magazine ad they run in periodicals like Greenpeace World, National Geographic and the Sierra Club magazine.

And by the way, Beyond Petroleum is the #1 most Climate-Change-Aware, green company on the planet!

So FUCK YOUR GROSS IGNORANCE, you dirty old left-wing propaganda whore.

  • @CorporateRule You are a complete fucking tool.

  • @CorporateRule From 1954 to 1998, the name of the company was British Petroleum Company. Wikipedia: 'In 2001 the company formally renamed itself as BP plc[29] and adopted the tagline "Beyond Petroleum," which remains in use today.'

I'll leave to the reader to decide who the assfuck is.

  • ..looks who's funding the video...bp is not only stupid but a bunch of incompetent hypocrites....

  • ...maybe because bp is made up of a bunch of idiots.... they also are liars as well...

  • i cant beleive its not satire

  • hah! Grass and trees. YOU FUCKING IDIOT!

Know how much grass it would take to run a car?! TONNES & TONNES! what are you going to do? Burn the grass?? what energy is there in THAT? retard. What's even worse is that she said trees. fuck sake...Yes burning trees is the future energy source. Consider the impact on earth, burning hydrocarbons is bad enough, BUT BURNING TREES for car energy is ridiculous! Its like If their was a cup for stupidity I'm sure she would win it

  • Its like ignoring the hundreds of environmental campaigns to stop destroying trees and forgetting global warming!!

  • I felt sick when he said solar powered cars. Knowing that you wil need a huge surface area of solar panels to power a small bungalow

  • haha What do you put in your bodies?? 0:12 Cocks? thats "messing things up!"

  • yeah, as you say, a bunch of idiots...lmao

The best is the gay coupole at second 14...loool

  • Helium is an inert gas and generally won't react with anything. It has an extremely high nuclear binding energy. It also is extremely difficult to get to fuse (which we can barely do with deuterium as is and can't get any energy from). It's ironic that you'd pick the one element with the lowest possibility of energy recovery.

AS for seaweed or garbage. That's possible with thermal depolymerization, they could be made into gasoline but its highly energy intensive.

  • @DrBuzz0 I love it when a very educated person as yourself destroy a hippie's ego. it makes them "Know it alls" look like retards.

  • Lmao... because this isn't the twilight zone. Why don't you explain how any of that would be possible?

Energy is extremely difficult to create. A lot of people believe that we are pretty much doomed when our fossil fuels run out. Oil is unbelievably energy rich and we don't have anything else that comes close.

  • to lovepontiac:

thanks for the science lecture :)

  • Energy is never created nor destroyed. It's just a matter of transferring that energy into an alternative form. In 100 years we may be able to do some of these things, but it'll be too late to make a change.

  • lol fusion cars??? Imagine

  • Solar car... lmao. Unless he can find a way to make a car run on a teeny tiny amount of energy, that's not going to happen.

And this isn't back to the future lady. You cant run your car on garbage.

  • to lovepontiac:

maybe you should listen to the first few seconds again before making a comment like this.

    0:00 - 0:03

What do you think cars will be running on in the FUTURE? (key word: FUTURE)

  • No shit. This stuff isn't going to be possible ever. It's not just a few years away. Even if you could make a solar panel that was 100% efficient (also impossible) you couldn't power anything larger than a bike.

And trash energy is possible, but you need massive hoppers and other equipment that wouldn't fit in a car. Plus it takes weeks to process.

  • No. The laws of physics always apply. Even if you covered the entire surface of a car with solar panels with 100% effeciency (which you never reach anyway) the energy would be so small that it would not be enough to overcome the rolling friction, air resistance and the mass of the car to provide any kind of reasonable acceleration. It would barely be enough to operate the radio and never the air conditioner.

    READ A BOOK

  • @DrBuzz0

you've never heard of the world solar challenge, have you? There are more or less practical cars with only 6m^2 of solar cells which run at >100km/h.

    go, read a book yourself!

  • @fckwkyle Those cars are Light weight and would only carry a couple of hundred of Kilos. Apply that to a vehicle that is supposed to transport objects weighing just as much and we might have problems.

  • @DrBuzz0 I see you posted this a year ago...so it is the future and they do have solar powered cars now...expensive but they do have them

  • @DrBuzz0 Yea because like the austrailian solar car race like never happened, It is like unpossible!

  • @DrBuzz0 Yea because like the austrailian solar car race like never happened, It is like unpossible!

  • "What we're doing (with cars) is really messing things up" Yes, I guess the cars that people specifically designed to run on fuel requires another source of energy. Maybe I'll try feeding my car carrots. Pair of morons.

  • In the future every family will be given one "true believer" so they can run their cars on the BS that issues from their mouths :-P
