In truth, Leuchter was never an engineer and has never received any education regarding engineering. He can design model trains if he wants but nobody bought anything he designed or made. He has a B.A. in history from Mass. The judge stated in his trial that he was no more qualified about gas chambers in Auschwitz than any average tourist. He plea bargained to avoid prison. His own selection of Lab debunked him. He is a complete charlatan but Nazis love him.

Funny how several similar tests have actually found cyanide residue in the gas chambers, and these are people with credentials. But of course, whenever holocaust deniers can't dispute something they jump to the age old excuse of 'it was the jews'

Leuchter was completely debunked in court. He is not an engineer or an expert on anything other than fraud. The judge stated he had no more expertise about gas chambers in Auschwitz than any tourist who visited there. He had to make a plea deal to avoid time in jail. He was rebuked by the Laboratory he hired to do the analysis on Zyklon-B.

Leuchter = liar. Leuchter = Lügner. Jeder kann sich informieren, KZs kann man besichtigen und Filmmaterial gibt es reichlich. In den KZs wurden Menschen gedemütigt, ausgebeutet, ausgehungert + grausam ermordet (Gas). An Kindern wurden grauenhafte "medizinische Versuche" vorgenommen. Es gab Ärzte, die lebenden Menschen ohne Betäubung Organe entnommen haben. Unvorstellbare Verbrechen, die jeden Horrorfilm in den Schatten stellen.

IN 1990 the Krakow forensic institute conducted the same tests and researches as Leuchter, to refute his report... Their own tests have shown the same results as the Leuchter's report.

@HugoPrimozic False. When they tested the material CORRECTLY, they found cyanide present in ALL gas and delousing chambers. There was no cyanide found in living areas, i.e., prisoners were taken to certain locales in the camps and gassed.

@FilmFanMan67 The Institute for Forensic Research conducted an experiment that disproved Leuchter completely. His methodology was completely incorrect because he had no background in toxicology and thus did not understand how to correctly test for cyanide. Sorry, sad fool.

@jacobatf79 if it disproved him compleatly that would mean the rooms were properly sealed and vented the floor drains were NOT connected to the same system ETC Leuchter never claimed to have a background in toxicology or forensics and has said as much.
Not that it matters the polish government has admitted the "gas chambers" were built AFTER the war for tourism purposes IE to show the people what they wanted/expected to see

I would have someone going to examine ruined structures would have made himself aware of what they looked like and how they operated before they were dismantled and destroyed - surely this must be basic preparation work? You are aware that it was a few more and by far, far more sinister gas chambers there than the one rather badly reconstructed former air attack shelter in the main camp that for very obvious reasons is a rather ill suited as a gas chamber. How "expert" is figuring this out?
