The US and British embassies were NOT ransacked on VE day. In fact, the flags of the allies(including the Union flag) were carried through Dublin. Ive seen pictures of them and I suggest that you google it.

In 1938 Eire made a pact with Nazi Germany as did the IRA. It is not for discussion or denial sonny, it is historical fact! Deb sebt Doenitz condolences when Hitler died and opened a book of rememberance in Dublin. The US and UK embassies in Dublin were ransacked by mobs on VE day and the wosmt damming is what Wiesenthal wrote about that perfidious and odious little island. id say you spend your time on you tube throwing insults at people.ireland was prevented from joining the UN by USSR an old nazi ally who like the USA only joined the war after been attaked which ireland was not. about roosevelt wanting to invade eire please dont make up facts because its bull.dev signed the book of condolence because he said he did not want to insult Germany in its hour of defeat.dev was also one of the first to welcome the new state of isreal.now as i said no more BNP stuff

It seems you wish to deny history, or is it that because you are irish you cannot accept the perfidious face of your history. Why did Russia block irelands entry to the UN? i do not wish to deny history far from it.however i can not agree with any of your so called historical fact because it is not historical fact!it sounds more like pub talk with conspiracy thrown in on top!as for the USSR they blocked us for not fighting in ww2 plus we like most including the UK were very anti communist. Its weird since they only came in to the war after been attacked and if we had been attacked we too would have been invovled .

And no, ireland would not have been involved, all of the brave irishmen came to fight hitler( 65,000), the cowards stayed at home. So old chap, go and study the perfidious past of your country!

First of all I am not trying to annoy or insult good and decent irish people who are the majority. I will be very pleased if I am annoying idiots who support the IRA and therefore terrorism. As for the Irish history denial, well you can believe whatever you want. But the truth is there and cannot be denied. Try Professor Niall Ferguson as a start, he has 3 chairs, Harvard, Stanford and Oxford and is seen as THE foremost Historian of today, but you wont like it!

i prefer robert fisk ,but really ive read loads of books and never come across any of your statements.what i do know is allied airmen and planes were handed over across the border and back into allied service plus weather reports before d day were handed over to the british plus allied planes on u boat missions were allowed fly acoss irish air space. i would also say dont get bogged down in slagging matches which seems to happen alot on you tube

It is presented by a true Irish hero who was an RAF pilot who was treated appallingly when he came home in 1946. Weather reports? they were paid for and irish airspace, what was ireladn going to do, spit on them? No slagging match dear boy, just fact, just fact!

im not in a slagging match with you other people were.ya seen it he's name is cathal think he joined the RAF at 17 and served in the far east he did a really good documentry about pow camps in the far east.yes the weather reports for d day came from eire,yes im sure there were a hand few of nazis in ireland and communists too just as there was in the UK.Does that make us a nazi ally NO.The facts speak for them selfs ireland was a friendly neutral country to the allies .

Sorry mate, history is undeniable. Another irish hero is actually a mate of mine, he was a CPO on the Coventry who when the ship was on fire helped lead the survivng crew in a chorus of "always look on the bright side of life" Oh forgot, Royal Navy but he is from Limerick!
