you lost the race b/c you left it in D for the top end race.

the tranny shifted early to 5th gear. it happened to me on a top end run.

next time use the tiptronic : )

@03basesedan Yea, i always race with tiptronic but this race i didnt mount my camera so i just left it in D plus i had the heat on full blast, ima rematch em soon

I have an auto too, and I find that my car hits its sweet spot in 4th between 110 and 140, haha, from 96 to about 110/115 it's out of peak tq. It really starts to pick up around 110/115 and at 125-130 it should be pulling hard.

@03basesedan yea i know what you mean, my 4th goes from 100 to 145 and after about 110 it just constantly pulls to 135+ like nothin, check my Evo and G35 highway fun video, you'll see lol

@occckid123 so what? it means nothing, maybe from the initial hit on the roll and from a stop or low speed roll, but when you're at 5000+ rpms, HP is more important.
