Yes, it does, but U.S. TV execs would NEVER bring the actual show here with this cast. They would do as they ALWAYS do with other shows from overseas: pay a fee for the rights to the show, rename it and place an entirely new cast with many bi-racial people instead. Fact.

U.S. execs still don't "know," understand or care enough about West Indians and those from the Caribbean for this to be accurately portrayed by any actors here in the U.S.. Case in point: any scene/movie/episode that calls for an actor to be from the W.I./Carib, they ALWAYS hire the worst actor with the worst accent possible, rather than one that has a reasonable grasp of the dialect enough to successfully mimic them....or even hire actors that actually ARE of Caribbean heritage.

Please learn to read. My comment has NOTHING to do with the actors in this show, but is a response to how Caribbean & West Indian characters are unfortunately still portrayed on T.V. shows & in movies in the U.S. I doubt this show would ever reach the U.S. instead we would get the "U.S." version of the show, with a poor selection of actors hired by casting execs that just don't care enough or are unwilling to do any research to capture the correct dialect of any island or Caribbean country.

Not bitter, just realistic and honest. That reply was in response to someone saying the show should come to the U.S..
