If you study the war conventions, you'll find that a soldier is morally obligated to put his own life in danger rather than cause death or injury to civilians. @RAPSUCKS1738 Well, one thing is the gas chambers were invented to spare the murderers the pain of seeing what they were doing. They "just popped a gas pill into a tube". It is the same principle that has later military firing using interfaces that makes it look like a videogame to them: distancing them from their inhuman acts. (Distancing them is part of what makes it inhuman).
