Truth to be told, Benny, George, and Pat's description of insurance wasn't so great either. All they told Stanley was the result of insurance. They didn't tell him about how it involves paying the company a certain amount of money every month and that you have to renew the insurance policy every year.
Not bigger words, just faster ones! But geez, doesn't Mr Dollar have five extra seconds to spare? It's about how much longer I took. A talent like that has limited uses to be sure.
Does anyone have enough of a speed ear to be able to tell me exactly what Johnny said in description of insurance? Just in case I want to explain it that way to someone who asks me?
@Garrettk41 You don't need a speed ear, just a digital recording like this one and the ability to pause and rewind and make educated guesses. My best attempt:
Insurance is the act, system, or business of insuring property, life, or one's person against loss or harm, and rising in specified contingencies by accident, theft, death or disablement in consideration of payment in proportion to the risk involved. --Johnny Dollar
I'm so glad to have this uploaded. Mathnet is one of my all-time favorites. And I know how Stanley feels. I remember when my bike was stolen, and boy was it devastating.
Pat in her own way is kinda Good Looking!!!!

2:52 - Well, George, there's a lot more slogans I can think of for Meglopolitan where that came from:
"The light that never fails... except sometimes."
"There's no obligation... except for those you serve."
"Broken promises for the 'if' in life."
"Where the future is just a hour ago."
"Get Meg. You'll pay."
"Meglopolitan doesn't really stand by you."
