  • 500 dolla!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cant pierce a brain with bone from a strike..proven fact

  • very beautiful

  • three section staff is maybe the hardest weapon to master, this is amazing

  • Awesome Stuff!!!

  • I find you peoples opininons hysterical the only way to differentiate between the people who do know the arts from the rest is the short spoken an less refrenced as the whole world has the internet and makes you all kung fu masters gain some enlightenment smile an enjoy the videos keep your opinions to your hollow selves :)

  • watch?v=FhAWWg8pnqg

  • NICE!

  • wow... i do NOT want to get near this guy when that stick is around.

  • How has nobody voted thumbs up for this video? The 3 section staff is arguably the most difficult weapon to handle and this man has obviously mastered it

  • @Lupitor01 he obviously hasn't mastered his balance though....and three section staff is nothing in difficulty when compared to chain whip

  • wow o___o

  • I hope you all know this is a public performer and not a shaolin monk.

  • @xavierman232 sorry but youre wrong...he is a real monk from the shaolin temple

  • @sifurahsun if it was a monk he would have his head shaved

  • @xavierman232 shaolin monks have always been public performers, thats how they would feed themselves

  • @kapoof2 In our modern world yes, unfortunately, but not always. A monk is someone who live away from the society. There is no place for public performing in a spiritual life. China Pay and train some people like those "monks" to show the world the beauty of martial arts.

  • @kapoof2 Shaolin Monks Grow vegetables to eat. Get your fact straith dude

  • @xavierman232 You're right that there is a possibility of it being a performer due to the fact that many monks do not practise for money, but they don't only eat vegetables. I used to train under a shaolin monk for one year. They eat anything they can get their hands on, from fruits to vegetables and meat.

  • @xavierman232

Monks have to do this to raise money for their temple.. Times changed man.

  • @JayteePhandango Times has change but it still possible for monks to live without money in the temple. Also the suit doesnt make the Monk. At the beginning of the video we hear in the speaker that this is a competition for 500$. Be aware taht buddhist monk Never ever shows up in public. These performers has to be laic.

  • @nivenheim Oh my god, you're even more of a clown than I first thought! I'm laughing even harder now because each think you say is more RIDONCULOUS than the last! NOSE THROUGH THE BRAIN! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL this shit is GOLD !!!!!!!!!!11 one eleven!!!111

  • @Wiegieboard ur an idiot

a good strike to the nose can send shards of bone through the nasal cavity wall and into the brain thus causing death

idk if u should be laughing at nivenheim cuz ur the one spewing crap thinking ur right when in fact, u dont kno wtf ur talking about

so b4 u try replying to my comment with some paragraph filled with lol's and other crap that u would try to say to contradict me, try looking on the internet, maybe u might learn something

oh and ridonculous isnt a word, ass

  • @noodleboix

there isnt enough bone in your nose to do that. not anyones nose. theres barely a bullet worth of bone and the parts of your brain you cant afford to lose are in the base of your skull where it meets your neck. you can lose half your brain and still be alive and capable of thinking if its not a vital part like that.

it just doesnt work that way. the supposed lethality of something like that probably comes from times when you couldnt get medical attention and get an infection

  • @noodleboix

really though brains are really sturdy structures. you cant survive with half your heart missing and yet people do with large portions of brain torn out and even a whole hemisphere missing. by contrast you might have to have the cartilage surgically removed if its pushed into your nasal cavity like that or youll end up with a horrific injury thats prone to repeated infections. that would have been fatal millenia ago

  • @clockworkdreams it's true, there isnt alot of bone in the nose but if u hit it right, it is possible

i kno cuz im a bio major and im a blackbelt in tae kwon do

    so i kno it's possible

  • @noodleboix Have you punched a mans nose through his brain and killed him in TKD class?

  • @Wiegieboard no

but i learned the technique to do so

and ive seen a documentary that says it's possible

so believe me i kno it's possible

  • @noodleboix Do you have a link to the documentary? What was it called?

  • @noodleboix LOL looking on the internet? How about you actually get up off your keyboard warrior, google know it all ass and actually go train. Then you'll learn that we're not made of paper and don't die like in the movies when the good strong mystical magical man touches us with his "death strike" Oh and by the way, "b4" "idk" "u" "cuz" "ur" "kno" and "wtf" aren't words either you hypocrite. Lrn 2 edumuhcate you gutteral hillbilly from "Good ole Murkah of A"

  • @nivenheim LOLOLOLOL You just made me laugh so fucking hard! Killed by a strike to the bridge of the nose that's fucking priceless! I see going by your comment and the saying you put at the end that you must be one OOOOOOOLD motherfucker. KILLED BY A STRIKE TO THE NOSE! AAAAAAHHAHAHHAA I'm putting that shit on my facebook!

  • Is he a real monk?

  • He was just trying to kill a wasp.

  • Ive hit a few people with a 3 sectional, very effective.

  • Man...... i would fight this guy just to see him kick my ass in style, have someone record it and then when i snap out of his one punch k.o. ima watch his punch in slowmo over n over again, altho taking a punch from bruce lee would be better

  • can i buy the chinese guy to? or korian or japenese watev so how much is the guy?

hes not for sale because he keeps on doing peoples mothers so if u want no never sleep again and be listening to springs all night then hes 100 dolars. IL TAKE IT!

  • The sheer awesomenss can kill you before you hit the gorund.

  • @AirsoftShenanigans No, this guy's sheer awesomeness can kill you 10 times before you hit the ground! Seriously, when it came to fighting skills, these Shaolin guys are on par with ninjas!

  • This guy is epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • his look thinner then mine... or maybe mine are just way too thick haha either way, it kills if you do it wrong.

  • Crazy suggestion, I know, but make the staff out of glow sticks and put it to Myon & Shane 54 - Not A Lot Left

  • @nathanwilefrazier lol XD

  • First time i seen these things used like a effective weapon

  • This weapon is SO HARD to control. You can see this guy's a master, and he doesn't manage to keep it totally in-gates for the whole time. This is so impressive. It inspires me to do weapons training again.

  • te caga a palos

  • Holy shit that man is impressive!!! I idolize the Shaolin monks...

  • Is there anything better than seeing monks who find peace through practicing bare-fisted murder doing what they do best?

  • get 6 pack, and you as crazy as hell!!!!

  • Is this as deadly as a bo staff?

  • I'm so going to buy a set of these and record me using them. Probably going to hit myself in the nuts though.

  • very cool

  • NICE :D tristaff rocks!!

  • man he is bad assed i need to find a thinner flexwood staff like that

  • @SirPreyas... yes, a batting helmet is a good idea when first starting out or trying a new move...

  • tres cool. and he doesn't do that crazy screaming and hollering stuff that they do in kata performances

  • @Eyegooth its called Ki-ai, and there is a reason its used.

  • @TheBrokenShadows what reason?

  • Comment removed

  • Holy Monkey! That was crazy! (Oxo)

  • that's nothing you need to see a shaolin master

  • For those who don't believe this weapon can kill, listen: the centrifugal force generated by the swing of each of those ends is over 1800 pounds per square inch of impact pressure. That is enough to break the arm or crack the skull.

  • @Terriss0421 fight science much?

  • @Terriss0421

    you mean centripetal...centrifugal is fake...

  • @Terriss0421 for those who dont do physics, listen: the centrifugal force doesnt exist.

  • @RehabMegaofficial You're right, it doesn't exist - but angular momentum does.

  • @Terriss0421 how bout a nunchaku?? im not quite conviced abput its striking power

  • @troj444 Nunchaku exerts a similar amount of force, however they have to be constructed a certain way. In the old days, they used to be three inches in diameter and carved into the shape of an octagon out of tiger wood (the hardest wood in the world).

Now a days, they are barely an inch in diameter, made from balsa wood, and covered in soft foam.

It is possible to find stainless steel ones, which I imagine are actually quite devastating.

  • @Terriss0421 wow! man my nunchuck fit exactly ur description. it has 7 chain rings and carved into the shape of octagon too, tht makes it quite painful to catch in ur hand if ur not used to it. and its virtually indestructible lol, idk if its tiger wood but i once accidentally threw it at cement and bore a hole on the wall O_O

i hve steel ones too, but people who compared my chucks say tht the wood chuck is more badass

  • @Terriss0421 so wat do you think??? could my nunchucks b effective in combat??

btw thnks 4 the trivia man XD

  • @troj444 I would say that your nunchaku would be extremely effective in combat. Probably more so than your steel ones, as evidence from your concrete encounter.

If you want to see if they are tiger wood, I would either utilize google or compare them to something made from oak. Oak is extremely dense, but nothing compared to tiger wood. If it seems to be a hellofalot harder, then it is tiger wood.

Be careful with those, btw. They are EXTREMELY illegal. (all 50 states)

  • @Terriss0421 Exactly. Same concept with nunchuks, but these generate more force. I would say crack the skull, that would be an understatement. These things would break bones. If nunchuks can go 3x the velocity of the force of your arm swing, then I honestly wonder what these can do.

  • @Terriss0421 Don't forget the ability to strangle people with the Chains.

  • @Terriss0421

Would've believed you if centrifugal force existed ;).

  • @samisealo Centrifugal force does exist, but I used it very inappriopriately here. What I meant to say was "Centripetal" force. To everyone, I apologize. Centrifugal force has something to do with orbiting planets and how their speed effects their path or something astronomically immense like that.

  • @Terriss0421

NO no no no no no no no no no no no no!!

I will promise you that centrifugal force in no way shape or form exists =p.

Orbiting planets and their speeds etc can all be found using Keppler's laws.

At first, they thought there was a force in circular motion that pushed everything outwards, they called it centrifugal force. We then found out that that's a load of rubbish, and there is in fact only a force pulling towards the centre in all circular motion. This is centripetal force.

  • @nivenheim I never knew that the Hulk was in town.

  • easily kill

  • Fukken lol is all I can say to that!

  • awsome stricty fuckin awsome shoilin monk style man!!! WOOOO

  • 00:08 OK, I maybe, MAYBE, am able to do that, but I would need a helmet 00:15 OK, There is no way in this lifetime I could do that without putting myself in the hospital, this guy's too good. 00:31 OK, I so would've put myself in the emergency room if I even thought about trying that. 00:46 Talk about smooth.
  • lmfao! thats to funny :P

  • Funny but true

  • @SirPreyasThe619 im learning how to use a 3 section staff

the first two that u mention r pretty easy

just that i can't do 00:15 as fast as he can

    lol

    :D

  • With a gun? Sure.

    With a melee weapon? Doubt.

  • gun :D

  • You don't understand what I mean, do you?

    Explain what I meant.

  • i wanna see u gifht him

  • is that monkey?

  • lol, I've playing san jie guan now about 11yrs and this guy is a legend, all I can say is directed at the noob who claims in another you tube vid that he mastered the tool at 16yrs of age, get on that first rung fool coz your ego obviously pulled you off, plus to any one who claims to be better than this put up or shut up. might do a vid of me playing now I throw down the challenge

  • TO the assholes who claim to be better, upload a video and show us.

  • lol the dam staff was a blur to me XD

  • man that is amazing

  • @ihatej00poo

u probably couldn't even swing a 3-section staff w/o hitting urself so don't go criticizing ppl for such a mediochre mistake, u stupid loser

  • bullshit

  • i have 3 section chaku, its extremly difficult, and if you youtube-hater-pussy think you are better than this guy upload a video and let us see your "skill"

  • shut the fuck up

  • BRUTALITY!!!

  • whoever trys him is cut off

  • Flawless...

  • DUUUUUDE WHAAAAT?! The first 3 seconds my head would have been a smashed melon already!

  • i think that weapon is not so heavy than a normal one...

  • great vid its said to take a minimum of 10 years to become "compitent" with 3 section staff and thats just to learn how to do the full kata. this looks like his lifes work to me.

  • This isn't true traditional shaolin. It's the new Chinese version combining modern wushu and shaolin. The 10 years to become competent is a bunch of BS as well. These performance monks are exciting to watch but often times what they do is one form and work it to the point of only knowing that one form. They are then chosen to perform it and only it.

  • Are you joking? 10 years to become competent? Do you only practice once a month?

  • Holy Shit.

    You Ain't Touching Him.

  • I thought I saw the staff hit his head a couple of times. Would have hurt, I think.

  • amazing... did he lose his balance at :45

  • Nice this guy is awesome!

  • This guy should have been Darth Maul in Star Wars 1. This guy would eat Ray Parks lunch!

  • I'm already badass at nunchaku. How long does it take to learn to do this that well.

  • longer since your "badass at nunchaku" its a completely different technique and you would had to forget all youe nunchaku training whil training for this so it wouldnt combine

  • Gotta train the staff before this weapon. Spinning a staff is more similar. Nunchaku does give some benefits though...

  • Love to see an MMA guy try to take down that death trap, lol. Badass.

  • I think it'd only really matter if those things can break bone. Wouldn't fancy trying it personally mind you.

  • He threw it straight up into the air! Insane! Amazing flow too.

  • Whaaaaat the fuuuuuck.

    Tooo good.

  • thats fricken bad ass!!

  • Comment removed

  • W... What is this guys name... Please tell me...

  • Son of a bitch! Don't get hit! :D

  • wow that guy has some awesome skills. by far the best i have seen with that weapon

  • I can't go around getting my ass kicked so i would shoot him with my bean bag gun.

    who says cheaters never win?

  • HOLY SHIT HES FAST omg i cant believe how good he is lol

  • thas wht i call true wiedling

  • Holy, it's fast~~

  • That's weird... Tri-Link staff is suppose to be a wing chun kung-fu weapon not a shaolin kung-fu weapon... Well I don't know I never knew they use a tri-link-staff.... I take Shaolin but only see Wushu people use it

  • any martial artist will use it if he likes it

  • 1. Not weird at all: 3-sectional staff is far older than the Wing Chun and an integral part of many Shaolin Styles. Wing Chun is way cool, but a relatively new style derived from Shaolin Mantis. 3-sectional was one of Master Yeh's favorites(My Jhong Law Horn Northern Shaolin)

    2. That is Wushu you are looking at - the reason it is so fast is the sticks are tiny - shorter, thinner and lighter than any real fighting sticks.

  • if you made yourown to day went to a park and tryed to have some fun tryin to tame it the cops would be there in a hart beat to take you a way and ask you for £80

  • Yeah, I tried using one of these. Infact I made it myself with a triple loaded nylon cable, like in the nunchaku tut in my pro.

Never took it out of my closet again after reeming myself in the nose and eyesocket. Things are wicked to tame.

I advise any one who wants to learn how to use a 3 section staff; to wear a foam sparring helmet. The head is usually the first thing it acquaints itself with.

  • or jus buy a foam 3 section staff?

  • I think it could just as easily find its way right in between my legs! :]

  • yes i learned the hard way

  • Shoulda added foam, no?

  • ...Holy shit, Seriously; I don't even know what to say, but I had to add something to giving it five stars.

    Amazing.

  • he lost confidence after the toss, and hit his head.

nice moves with a really hard weapon though. good overall :)

  • 3 section staff scares the shit out of me.

i dont know why it just does

  • lol. If you slow down at all when spinning it behind your back, it's hitting you in the head. It's not a weapon you can think twice about the move you're going to do.

  • hahaha same here.

  • that is my fav weapon

  • man fuk messing with a monk son....

  • Man, this thing is the hardest to control

  • The chainwhip is actually the most difficult weapon to control.

  • Ah ok, I've never tried the chainwhip before

  • Trust my opinion as if it's fact. It takes brutality to a significantly higher magnitude.

Do not underestimate the power of the whip.

Dracula did, and he got his ass whipped by Simon Belmont.

  • Yeah, I can imagine power of whips in general. Plus, the cracking sound of other whips (like bullwhips) is caused by the fact that the tip breaks the sound barrier so they must be pretty powerful.

I only based my opinion of the three section staff on the fact that trying to use one got me nailed in the head.

  • I nearly broke my wrist when one of the bars *near the handle* somehow struck my radius.

I was writhing in pain. Thank goodness The spike didn't hit me. It would have completely shattered my arm and probably would have torn through muscle.

I wasn't even cracking it that hard.

PS: I was using the 9 sectional chain whip. Would have been worse with 7 sectional, since it's faster and more difficult to evade, given the same amount of force used for either.

  • Oh wow, that's crazy. I'd love to start learning how to use a chain whip, but I'm not totally positive on how to go about doing it without killing myself..

  • The Poi, or sock spinning is a great way to learn how to use the Chain Whip.

Or you can tie nine 4" long 0.5" diameter pvc or wood sticks together with "reinforced" fishing line(3" between each stick). It will still hurt if you mess up, but it won't break bones.

I haven't tried this, but PVC pipe logically would work.

It's inexpensive and easy to repair in comparison to a real metal chain whip.

  • He is good... but seems like he was kinda nervous with the crowd : p

  • I have a 3 section staff.

( I wish I could master it like him )

    WOW - that's pretty amazing !!

All I can do is the whipping / striking moves ... lol

  • yea try kick him in the balls while hes doing that lol

  • that is what i call skill !!!

  • i tried using one of these things at my martial arts school!

it hit me in the face tho....and it was made of metal

  • lol

  • your the only guy ive seen that makes this weapon look cool

  • damn that was wicked

  • wow that is sooo impressive.

i'm not being funny though but what the hell kind of crowd was that?

and sometimes it looked like he slightly misjudged hand placements but he corrected it in a split second so im not sure if it was deliberate placing of the hand or not?? hmnmm

    anyway that was amazing!!

  • very good control of the staff. it takes years to master that fucking thing!!! btw.. a true kung fu master develops "iron egg" skills.. kicks to the balls dont effect them...watch the vids crisnchips12398

  • Not true. A martial artist would be faster than the average person and thus, kick the attacker in the balls first.

  • What if the person was a girl??? o.0
