Understand that most powerlifting is doen in lower rep ranges and thus does not burnnearly as much fat. While they dont look pretty theyre scary strong. I used to care about looking good and being ripped like a little pansy and wised up real quick when a guy with 15% more body fat than me benched 500lbs! Now Im about 13% body fat and have a 625lb bench.
Awesome, I love that you all showed so much a session with relative continuity, I mean that tricep push down with the ball, I dig. I really like the spinal extension with the Prowler, someone truly evil must have come up with that. The Westside system is so solid, powerlifting isn't my gig and I love seeing how systems develop their athletes , really dig it, cheers!
@PilotPicker ....so you'll only blow a guy if he's around 6-8 % BF? Picky little pickle smoocher...aintcha? Guys like PilotPickle here would do well to stick to the 24 hour fitness type gyms, where he can post up in the mens locker rooms all day without fear of reprimand.
@ces69jen the purpose of the chains and/or bands is to add resistance at a certain point in the range of motion of the exercise. For example the bench press... you saw the guys using chains on the end of the bar. most people are strongest at the top of range of motion (arms extended) so the full weight of the chains come into play, but as the bar is lowered, the chains come in contact with the ground which effectively reduces the weight in the "weaker" area.
@MikeMalesh it's great for raw lifters, being heavy on the top forces you to EXPLODE through the whole lift. a common use of chains is to build explosiveness.
@sk8forlife90 yeah because you know they dont train hard at all. steroids are magic. you take them and you become this strong ONLY by taking them without training..... dousche
Anyone know who makes that chest supported row at 5mins in? Thanks

Maybe it's just because they are all a bit older than the average weight in my gym, but they all have about 15-20% body fat.. It looks gross..

bands and chains will make raw lifters more explosive. my jump are more explosive now that i train with bands on box squatting.

@ces69jen it adds tension at the top of the lift. Not the best for RAW lifters though as the tension at the top is supposed to simulate a shirt.
