  • Why would mickey be going to Pomona, California?

  • @kingben821

Because Mickey wants some good meth.

  • @shogott Haha you know what's up

  • @kingben821

    yee, im over in Covina

  • @shogott Yeah Pomona is the most ghetto town ever

  • Pause on 5:35, you wouldn't find Pete's coat Mickey and Pluto were hiding in.

  • ironically, the voice actor of mickey(walt disney) is talled than pete's voice actor

  • @pucca12a That wasn't pluto who said that, that was mickey.

  • OMG, when mickey talked in a deep voice on part 5:39 and 6:37, it shocked the heck outta me and made me laugh so hard at the same time! I never heard mickey talked THAT deep before (since he has a high squeaky voice and all). Anyways, I like this cartoon, I remembered seeing this for the first time on disney channel when I was 4 or 5 years old. And I can't believe walt disney did the voice of mickey in this cartoon and the other mickey shorts back then! Anyways, good cartoon!

  • this movie is my everything <3

  • 7:12 Mickey copying Sonic ^^

  • @Zergling1986 And this was just 50 years before!!!

  • The Great Walter Elias Disney himself did Mickey's voice.

  • 2:05 Classic traveling music

  • I love how its walt Disney does the voice of micky , true disney magic right there x

  • i like it how pete always says: "hey you..."

  • Pete looks funny when he shows his teeth! I like this video a lot!

  • Isn't Pete also a dog?

  • I love Mickey's deep voice at 5:39 and 6:37.

  • Lol, this is so timeless. Its so cute and funny

  • "No Dogs Allowed"

Imagine if Goofy tried to board that train!

  • mickey mouse i remeber this show it was funny

  • WOW, Walt Disney Is truly extraordinary, Look here, the behind the magic of this episode! IT'S SO COOL SEEING WALT AS MICKEY!

    /watch?v=q1OziHxAl_A

  • Haha! I used to live in Pomona!

  • This is one of my favorite Mickey cartoons, next to the incomparable "Sorcerer's Apprentice".

  • They shortened a half hour train ride to five minutes. Good ol cartoons.

  • What happened to Disney? :'(

  • @ganyadus Disney Animation and Pixar are putting out pretty good movies. If you're talking about Disney Channel I can understand, most of the stuff on there is just pure garbage. I mean c'mon!!! Hannah Montana? Shake it Up? A.N.T. Farm? Why would anyone watch that? The only good stuff DC has nowadays is Have a Laugh!, Phineas & Ferb, and Good Luck Charlie. If Walt himself saw anything beyond GLC, P&F, and HAL!, he would turn in his grave.

  • @mattjnor98 Agreed fully, their animation studios have been improving since John Lasseter had taken over as head and Pixar has yet to embarrass itself. Both "Bolt" and "Tangled" were actually decent computer animated films compared to disgraces like "Home on the Range" and "Chicken Little". As for DC, Phineas & Ferb prove to us that cartoons nowadays can be fun IF the creator(s) are actually CREATIVE, unlike the crap on Nickelodeon and Cartoon Netowrk.

  • @Pooleman96 I hate Disney Channel (outside of Phineas & Ferb and Have a Laugh!), not just because thwy're playing nothing but teenybopper crap all day every day, but they have an even bigger problem... NO MICKEY MOUSE!!! Not one reference to his name is mentioned, and the only thing he's in outside of HAL and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is the logo.

  • @mattjnor98 You said it! Phineas and Ferb is a great show but we need more Mickey Mouse!

  • @KrazyKartoonKid What do you think of Shake it Up and A.N.T. Farm? I think they're both copies of that crappy Hannah Montana, but I want to hear your theories.

  • @mattjnor98 I think Shake It Up is another way to fill up the Disney Channel Schedule. It's not funny at all. Disney Channel are forgetting that Mickey Mouse is the real Disney!

  • @mattjnor98 I don't know about A.N.T Farm. I haven't heard of it. I live in the UK and DC has not shown this.

  • @mattjnor98 Good Luck Charlie is a brilliant show, I have to admit.

  • dogs are not allowed...............

what actually then pete is a cat

  • Back when they actually had to take trains to get from Burbank to Pomona...it'd be amazing to see the States A HUNDRED years ago

  • I've seen this cartoon many times, but I JUST NOW realized that when Pete punches (or bites) "OK" in Mickey's tickets, a little piece of ticket floats mysteriously in the center of the O. In our world, that would have fallen out since it's not actually attached to the ticket. Wow... did anyone else catch that? XD

  • this cartoon made my day

  • I wish they'd put more original Mickey Mouse Cartoons on Disney rather than Wizards of Waverley place and some of the other boring programmes.

  • They won't let a dog on the train, but they'll let a mouse?

  • OH man those were good times.

  • I love when Pete is yelling for tickets lmao

  • lol this short is awesome

  • 5:10 Stop hitting yourself!

  • Burbank to Pomona still takes long even by car....:)

  • Comment removed

  • Pete tells Mickey no dogs on the train yet I thought pete was a dog.

  • @jcool269 No Pete's a cat! thats why, or part of the reason why, Mickey and Pete don't get along.

  • TICKETS!

  • The day I see a Mickey Mouse short on my TV screen will be the happiest day of my life. These are too amazing to be ignored!

  • I wish Disney Channel turned that "Have a Laugh!" thing they have on during commercial breaks into a full-blown programming block that comes on after Disney Junior. There's nothing wrong with them airing tween shows, but they really REALLY need to leave them for primetime. Showing teenybopper programming all day on Disney Channel (after Disney Junior) is not very appealing these days.

  • @mattjnor98 i wish the majority of the Disney programming was more like that "Hage a Laugh!" segment. after all to paraphrase Walt himself. " we must never forget , it all started with a mouse"

  • @tgltyty True that.

  • Comment removed

  • @tgltyty well the last bit of your comment is wrong it didn't really start with a Mouse it started with a rabbit named Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, even though Walt said it started with Mickey it started with Oswald. The story goes like this:

When Walt was just starting of he had created Oswald for another company. When he had started construction on the park He asked the company if he could use Oswald but they said "NO".

  • @PikachuJackskeling94 Dude, I was quoting Walt himself, and you go off on me ??????

  • @tgltyty I wasn't! I know you was quoting Walt its just that what he said wasn't intierly true, and maybe he wasn't able to tell about Os because of the other company so don't go all huffy on me I was just trying to tell disney fact not trying to be mean, sorry if it came out that way.

  • @PikachuJackskeling94 wrong wrong wrong he made oswald WITH another company not FOR a nother company so when he wanted slitly change the look cause he didnt have the right they said NO

  • @elietelleohelle thats not what I hear from my dad (who works for Disney). Just sayin'.

  • @PikachuJackskeling94 i know every thing aboat walt disney and i am related to him

  • @elietelleohelle for real's! your not yanking my chain are You?! and I was just sayin' what I had learned from my Dad who learned that from his training.

  • @PikachuJackskeling94 well your dad was verryyyyyyyy close but yeahmy 7th cousoun was walt disney

  • how cool is that!I wish my family ancestors were famous.I have ancestors that came to America on the mayflower & one who fought in the US Civil war 2 me thats nothing compared 2 having Walt Disney as a distant cousin. :(. hay a question I is mickeys full name supposed 2 be Michael mouse,if not some girl is spouting innocence in a video called "Epic Mickey -- The story behind Mickey and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit."I know from my dad that Donald has a middle name but do the other have them as well?

  • @PikachuJackskeling94 yeah well im ausie and my great great grandad wasin our world war 1 and no mickey is micky and i knew dohnald duck has a middle name but i forgot i might tell you oneday

  • @elietelleohelle oh, cool. OK so you may want to go to that video and tell her off or what ever I just thought you might like to know that someone was making fool of people by saying something that isn't right about your distant cousins creation(s) I didn't continue watching the vid after I heard the Michael part. You don't have to tell me I know what it is its folderoy right?(don't know how to spell it).

  • @PikachuJackskeling94 It did start with a mouse because Mickey is what made Walt popular with Steamboat Willie before Oswald there were the Alice Comedies so it's not like Walt couldn't animate or something. Bottom Line, it truly did start with a mouse.

  • @disneybiggest *SHOUTS ANGRILY* Shut up. IF IT WASN'T FOR OSWALD WE WOULDN'T HAVE MICKEY! Walt was popular for Oswald but, we didn't know abut OSWALD because of Mitz, people knew Walt for Oswald. if you want to say things you should check your facts! and not shout nocence.

  • @PikachuJackskeling94 Whoa calm down pal I know Oswald's story is tragic but what Walt said about a mouse is all too true.

  • @tgltyty (continuation of last reply)So instead of quitting,& Walt was never a quitter he always had to make shur everything he made was 2 the best of that time,so he left that company & made a Mouse named Mortimer which Latter became Mickey Mouse, thanks 2 his wife.So it really all started with a very lucky/unlucky Rabbit Named Oswald, who slowly faded into history in tell not long ago when Disney got his rights back :D. (I hope I wasn't being obnoxious I just wanted help U learn Disney)

  • @tgltyty That's exactly what I meant when I said Disney should leave teenybopper programming for primetime. The majority of afternoon programming can be stuff from the Walt Disney cartoon library.

  • @AwesomeGrapes No...it was 1945. But I won't argue :)

  • You never forget how funny it is when Pete starts to go extremely mad! :D

  • HAHAHA when Pete confronts Mickey when he gets all sweaty and nervous.

HAHAHA when Mickey dresses like the conductor to fool Pete.

HAHAHA this whole cartoon! Another favorite of mine!

  • hmmmm NOM O K........ that was funny XD

  • the big question: how come they're the same size?

  • @fluffythumper5 Yep! He did the voice if Mickey until 1945, voicing Mickey in about 100 of his animated features!

  • I love Mickey, I wish they made more shorts like this.

  • after the screen becomes black at the end, mickey gets ran over by a train

  • "Tickets please." "TICKETS!!" Hahahaha he's so mad already

  • search Walt Disney Micky Mouse voice and choose the black and white picture to see Walt recording for this short. It's awesome

  • Comment removed

  • Walt Disney was so f@&%king talented at everything he did. He IS, and always will be, Mickey Mouse!

  • @FamGuyFreak100 Yet, unfortunately he was sexist and antisemitic. But then again that has NOTHING TO DO WITH HIS AWESOME ABILITY AS AN ANIMATOR, EXECUTIVE, AND VOICE ACTOR!!! AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED PERSONAL ISSUES MEAN NOTHING.

  • @FluffMaster101 thnx ^^

  • @koechiaki777 That's what I first noticed. I originally said "Mickey runs fast like Sonic!"

  • @BenJabituya lol me 2

  • dis bag belongs up DERE!!!!!!!

  • does walt do mickey's voice in this one??

  • @fluffythumper5 Absolutely. And there's film footage of him doing the Mickey Voice for this cartoon.

  • LOL on 4:18-4:29 and 6:21-6:33!

    "HELP!!!!!!!"

"How dare you spook me, you masher! Frightening a poor, defenseless woman!"

    "I'll call the conductor! CONDUCTOR!!!!!!"

  • 5:30 mickey mouse disappear for 1 frame 'o'

  • They Went That Way(deep voice) hahahaha

  • How old is Mickey in the cartoons? I know he's 82 now, but I never got to know his fictional age.

  • @mattjnor98 I'd say he's somewhere between his 20's and 40's.

  • @ThePixarPrincess I want to look at him like he's in his early 20's in the cartoons. He looks like a kid though.

  • @mattjnor98 I think some prefer the term "young adult".

  • mickey mouse rocks beacuse his a mouseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Pete is a cat, I believe.

  • @baxterfilms duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • The one that says "no dogs" what the fuck is he??? Isn't he a dog as well!!

  • I dont know what is mickey mouse and other disney characters till i play kingdom hearts. I only know bambi. Deprived childhood?

  • @LandStrife nah. i used to know tha day exist but only saw da goofy movie. i thin old folk no them mor, lawl

  • @LandStrife very deprived. I would also say your education has been deprived as well. Unless of course you are not from an english speaking country.

  • funny... isnt pete a dog, like goofy?

  • @chyman Nah. I think he's a Bobtail cat.

  • Its amazing! that the voice of mickey mouse is none other than WALT DISNEY in this film! i never knew that!

  • Ahaha, this is a GREAT cartoon :]

  • LOL at 1:25 to 1:29

  • 3:42

    Best part

    XD

  • Wow, fantastic quality!

  • Walt Disney voiced Mickey Mouse in this one, didn't he?

  • The sound is unsynchronized in high quality = / Am I the only one that experiences this?

  • @Hreinn91 Looks okay now. It was probibly a little glitch YouTube is having.

  • Did y'all know that Pete was created before Mickey Mouse (and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit). He appeared in Disney's Alice Comedies before the Mickey Mouse cartoons.

  • Fun fact: the voice of Mickey during this time was his creator.

  • @ParaChomp I knew that.

Then it was Jimmy McDonald, then Wayne Allwine, and now Bret Iwan.

  • He's riding The Shack's train! (Emperor of the North Pole)

  • ah classic disney.... even though i wasn't even alive around this time i wish they had these nowadays than all that other stuff

  • About the voice. Personally, I found Jimmy MacDonald's voice to be exaggerated and annoying. Wayne Allwine was highly expressive and always entertaining. But Walt Disney will always be my favorite voice actor for Mickey Mouse. No one can replicate that honest small-town charm he gave Mickey.

Though I am looking forward to hearing what Bret Iwan has to offer.

  • @AniRemi I heard Bret Iwan's Mickey voice! It sounds eerily similar to Wayne Allwine, so there's almost no difference, except Bret's sounds younger

  • @frynross1 Sweet. :D Where can I hear it? Is there an example on YouTube?

  • @AniRemi There are a couple of clips on YouTube from Disney's newest ice show, Let's Celebrate, that have Bret speaking, and it just sounds awesome even through the bad quality ones

  • I like the remastered version on Disney channel better (mainly because of Pete's voice), it's too bad they cut it to about a minute's length.

  • @ChristianoDellaRuse

That version has Bret Iwan as Mickey Mouse

  • Billy Bletcher makes a SOOOO much better Pete.....FOR REAL!!!!!

  • 4:17, 5:22, and 6:21 very funny.

  • I actually saw this cartoon when I was Disneyland!

  • Hahaha!!! Cute! :)

  • Mickey should learn some cross-dressing techniques from Bugs so he can outsmart Pete and the rest of his enemies whenever he wants. XDD

  • @Danachii Not to mention Sonic. Mickey reminds me of Sonic and Pete reminds me of Dr. Eggman.

  • very good cartoons

  • i remember seeing this in one of the commercials for the little mermaid in VHS! Omg! i didn't know it was this one! :D THANK YOU FOR LOADING THIS UP! :D

  • 1:20 is the funniest thing i have ever seen

  • i remember growing up with this :) it was one of my favorites!

  • Why didn't Mickey stand on top of Pluto while they were hiding under Pete's jacket? That would at least be a little more inconspicuous than a short guy with six legs, wouldn't you think?

  • aw, i love mickey. what ever voice he may be. but its hard to believe walt voicing so high XD

  • I really love this cartoon! :) Uncle Walt's talent as Mickey really shines here. :) Thanks for posting! :D
