This is astonishing! You are the first AS sufferer to describe what I go through every night when I lie down. My wife can assess the severity of the pain by the noise of the movement. Right now I have 3 separate spinal 'slides' every time I lie down. Background - 52, AS over 30 yrs, got psoriatic arthritis that stopped me working 3 years ago, on morphine, anti-inflams, Humira, methotrexate, etc etc. OK-ish now but severe osteoporosis in spine (the cruel irony of AS).
