I know that people who think that hair is quality entertainment have very very poor taste. Judging it by this clip is all I need to know about it. Lame songs lame plot. I'm sure The Sound of Music is too musically advanced for ya'll.

Dude, you haven't even SEEN the show.. Don't judge it before you watch it! I saw it last summer with the entire revival cast and was blown away... I'm an AMDA student and have been doing theatre for years... Hair is a beautiful, meaningful show that truly changes how you view life.

And I'm sure you think Phantom of the Opera is "real" theatre, when it is just old...

@lmddrs first of all...this show was written in the 60's during a period when hippies were apart of this world and second of all the music is revolutionary. If you actually listen to the music, you can hear the feeling in the music.

@lmddrs COMPLEX!??!?!? five year olds sing sound of music for school play auditions. it was a wonderful show, but its so overdone its like re medial musical theater. this show is a commentary on what was happening in the 60s. its score was revolutionary. and (as i take it you're more into classics) i would think you'd at least be able to appreciate all this show has done for musical theater instead of bitching about it over the internet.
