I had to watch this film because P.Verhoeven was its director. He made brilliant RoboCop, Totall Recall and Basic Instinct. And yes, Starship Troopers was great. Casper Van Dien, Dina Meyer & Jake Busey did a great job. Critics gave many negative reviews to this movie but I think ST is one of the most underrated Sci-Fi films of the 90's (along with Strange Days, Alien 3, Them, Lawnmower Man, Virtuosity, FutureSport, The Time Shifters, The Apocalypse, The Arrival, Mimic, Virus, Space Truckers)
Watching Starship Troopers Right Now On ENCORE on TV. I've Seen It about 6 Times But This Is the First Time I Notice Fade Into You In The Background. I Was Like No Way They Just Put That Song On During The Fight Scene. Googled It and Sure Enough Haha All Random To Put That Song With That Fight.
I love how Carmen is just standing there watching Rico getting his ass beat. I mean she didn't even try and stop Zander from beating him down on the table!
