for the most part the movie sucked and it was Boring. for me I just liked some of the scenery, and Dialogue.

and Sean Penn is a good actor but I didn't like his Goth impersonation in "this must be the Place." Loved his lines but his whispering voice was annoying. and the constant depressed dragging around. I have mixed feelings about it.

Just a suggestion for someone to play the crow. I think(like I said, just my opinion) that James Franco would be a good suggestion. But that's just what I think.

lol, I knew you were going to post a video on Bradley Cooper dropping out of The Crow. I was skeptical about his casting, maybe he could pull it off, maybe not, but I'm glad he dropped out. I have an interesting candidate for his replacement: Michael Jai White. He played as Spawn, has the martial arts skills of Brandon Lee (if not better), and has charisma to spare. I saw him in Black Dynamite the other day, and he owned. They need an action star like a Brandon Lee, not a Marky Mark.

@thebrb30000 I love Michael Jai White, he's a fantastic action star and Black Dynamite is one of my fave movies of last year. I wonder if he's brooding enough for the Crow though-- all I can imagine is that scene in Black Dynamite where those two little girls think he might be their father. "My daddy was named the Crow too..." "Naw, little girls, there are a lotta cats with that name." ;)

@TheJillkill Black Dynamite was great, it's kind of an unofficial "Grindhouse" film, kinda like Piranha 3D.

I thought Jai White conveyed a decent sense of brooding as Spawn, but it sounds like The Crow remake is going for an A-lister. It's hard to think of any stars who are a good combination of Goth, badass, and youthful. They might be better off giving a relative-unknown actor a shot. Brandon Lee was an up-and-comer at the time. He made that role his own and became an icon.

Okay when i saw Sean Penn all made up I thought he looked like the lead singer onf the Cure Robbie Smith. LOL . Now you know the person to play the Crow sory my dark lovley I just can't see Jospeh Gordon Lovitt doing it. I am thinking someone tall. Jared padilicki from supernatural, Ed Norton or Jerry O'Connell. Any one can be better Mark Whalberg or bradley Cooper.

@the13thwolfman Yes, Penn's supposed to be a Robert Smith sort of character... which is extremely silly for a holocaust drama. It all sounds like a joke movie I'd make up with my friends while drinking. :)

I could perhaps see Ed Norton as The Crow, at least he's a brilliant actor.

hahaha, loved the intro and outro to your Goth News. A natural talent. I am not sure who is the ideal candidate for The Crow. Someone like Heath Ledger would have nailed it, i reckon, if he was still alive. Johnny Depp perhaps? but i would like it to be a lesser known actor. Anyway, the film wont work if they dont absolutely nail that part. I hope they come up with something! Although, being a remake i guess it wont compare to the original, but maybe? who knows. Anyway, awesome video my friend:)

I would also vote Johnny Depp, but might as well pull a Captain America CGI trick and have him play the role looking like he did in his late 20s... he's more Sandman age now than The Crow, since we're talking Goth comic icons.
