  • To stoopudjurcee- remember that it's relative. So milk is about $.10, rice and wheat flour are a fraction of the cost compared to the U.S. In fact, it is really smart as to what Bead for Life is doing because if you flood a community with lots of money, it very often has negative consequence (over history this has happened time and time again). So I think what this organization is doing is best in the long-run- for they are creating a sustainable money flow with education and trainin

  • I have one of the bracelets I simply love it. I'm not a jewerly person but I like wearing it everyday .

  • Amazing, but $1.50 for a single necklace? Sort of sad, even though she said $6 goes back into the community, that woman who toiled and spent many hours of her time making that necklace only received 1.50 for spending so many hours on just a few of those necklaces. Really hope for their sake that they're able to work fast, because that kind of money is... well, pretty crappy. I would charge more for those necklaces if I were the organization. Not for greed, but to help those hardworking women out

  • belive it or not but my aunt is the real founder of bead for life!
